  1. Well, I did indeed rethink my Explorist 600 pre-order and canceled it. Got the 60CS for $382 - $50 rebate from getagps.com. The main contributing factors were: 1. Standard Batteries 2. 2.6 diag screen (60cs) vs. 2.3 (Explorist) 3. People seem pretty happy with the Garmin overall 4. Turn by turn directions (with the right software) 5. I want it NOW! I should have it Wednesday...now if only this dang snow would melt.
  2. Below is the expected dates of release and the Suggested Retail Price. I would suggest that you check our website frequently to verify the releases of eXplorist 400/500/600. Model Number Expected Release Date Suggested Retail Price eXplorist 400 May 2005 $349.99 eXplorist 500 March 2005 $449.99 eXplorist 600 April 2005 $499.99 Jesse Campos Thales Navigation/Magellan Products Customer Support Representative (866) 339-0488
  3. getagps.com 60cs - $382 60c - $349 This is the lowest I've found.
  4. The printing issue seems to be related to Acrobat 6.0. I was able to print from Acrobat 7.0 without a problem.
  5. Hmm, I also can't print it. I sent an e-mail to Garmin regarding printing the rebate. I'll post any information that I get back.
  6. Garmin $50 Rebate The offer is good for: GPSMAP® 60C GPSMAP 76C eTrex® Legend C GPSMAP 60CS GPSMAP 76CS eTrex Vista C and is good from 3/1/05 - 7/5/05. There do not seem to be any vendor restrictions, but it does say that it's not applicable to on-line auctions. So, as near as I can tell, the GSMAP 60CS can be had for $332 + Shipping (getagps.com). This is definately making me rethink my Explorist 600 pre-order.
  7. Hi everyone: I have an Explorist 600 on order, but I'm getting conflicting information when it will be available. I thought a thread providing updates to avialability of the new Explorist units would help all of us sort through the rumors. If anyone has any new information (besides what's already been posted here), let everyone know. - AllYouNeedIsCache (1/4 of Resolution)
  8. Just pre-ordered from TigerGPS.com. TigerGPS.com $347.93 According to the page, it's expected in early March. I guess we'll see. Battery?....who needs 'em?
