  4. this happened to us when we where on hoilday and tried to log a cache via mobile so we don't log by phone anymore just wait till we get back home. it said it didn't go through so tried again and when we got home to check it had logged it three times.
  5. when we are camping we are usally a week behind before we log as our GPS is on my phone so if we try and log on the battery goes quick and sometimes there is no place to charge it up, so usally write a note on log book saying if we took or dropped of coins.

  8. thanks for all the help, little cooper thought we where in a race with fellow cachers so face was pressed on window looking for fellow caches on motorway grabbed a few along the way down to hertford and she didn't relise until we knocked on a door and her aunite opened it that we where actually going to see her new couisin. had to laugh as some of the caches we got had muggles around she was hiding in trees etc and i didn't want her getting dirty.
  9. we are like mountain goats up here in the peak district! i usally just fall on my bum!! did you tell you rescueres what you where up to? i always wonder now when we see the local fell and mountian rescue reports in the paper if the people where caching!
  10. the only one we have done in derby is GC2ANY5 someone has reccommed to us the carsington circular (8+ mile walk ) with different sizes of caches they ones we have done and liked are crich circular with one near by added as it was along the way and in matlock farley circuit with pining for farley woods which is a puzzle one near by. ther are several drive-bys along the way to matlock but most are micros. i will follow you on twitter and if i can think of any more after you have set off i will tweet you

  13. Did you get a timeout error on the first post and tried again? The forums seem to meltdown every so often when you are posting, so you hit back and submit again without realising the first submission went through. thats what happened! i thought it was just me have a early morning brain fart!!!
  14. sorry about posting twice computer had a melt down or was it user fault?
  15. we never would think of going to a mega because of the size. as for piratemania not moving well the campsite did such a good job and where so welcoming and the geo shop on site, there where also lots of walks which new routes could be set. we never did all the caches so next year we might finish the route before starting the new one. already book the weekend off next year and see all the old and new pirates there. aaaarrrrhhh
