  1. 2 finishes sold out...one low-stock! Of course, there should be one more batch released tomorrow!
  2. I'm stuck at the office pulling a real late one tonight! What's a real bummer is my wife called earlier and said there were 3 heavy boxes delivered today! Must be the poker coins from the Geocoin Store!
  3. I've got a great idea!!! Come to the GeocoinFest on the 18th, and we will help you get your project started! (Then, I can add Montana to the list of states attending!) Is there someone from Wy? Yep, I'm not sure who, but we have someone from Wy making the trip down!

  5. This isn't "official", but when I was talking with Tess an hour or so ago, the bronze were running low. I see the Black Nickel are low now as well. I was told they were already working on the second batch of coins, and there was only 1 more to go. If they run out tonight, the last batch will be entered sometime tomorrow...when those are gone...well, you get the picture.
  6. Congratulations on getting the kinks worked out so quickly! (Well, quickly in reality...although it didn't feel that quick in the heat of the moment!) Anyway, back to work for me...I just got off the phone with Aaron, and they already loaded their second batch of coins in...so they are going quick!
  7. I believe there will be a satin gold finish later, but on another site. Rumor also has it that a very LE version will be available soon at an undisclosed location...purchases in person only...
  8. Well, it's already been a busy night for Coins & Pins...so I don't want to overload their servers.... The GeocoinFest 2007 coins are now up and available for purchase...
  9. I guess none of us realized just how appropriate this thread title was!
  10. No, nothing is sold out! Check back tomorrow...
  11. Maybe...but it wouldn't be near as much fun!
  12. I'm on the phone with Aaron right now... I'm LMAO at him, and he is getting really frustrated! There have been over 4000 refreshes in 30 minutes! They will never get it going if you don't stop!
  13. Sorry everyone...I bought them all! They are all sold out now...so see me if you need coins! Just kidding!
  14. Oops, just noticed two more SD caches on the list: The Adrenaline Cache (revived)(revived) by travelita (Adopted By GoBolts!) - Most Challenging Cache 4th ANNUAL 'GEO OCOTILLO' CAMPOUT by San Diego County Geocachers - Best Event Cache It's really too bad because you guys missed a lot of other great San Diego caches....Maybe San Diego could hold it's own vote and award cachers at some future SD event to recognize these cachers! Actually we already have a vote! It's called the San Diego Consensus Favorites list! I had also posted notes several weeks ago in this thread to encourage nominations... Tyler has been doing this for several years at the end of the year picnic for the socalgeocachers. He had asked me if we could host the awards at our event since we have been having such a great turnout, and I happily agreed. Let's support the San Diego caches that got nominated, and next year, let's get more nominations in! My main reason for getting behind this is to encourage folks to visit other areas of So Cal. Maybe next year, we should push the event back to March to allow more time for the process. I for one would like to have the time to go visit a lot of the caches that are nominated. I'd love to see some of the cammo that others are using! Hopefully, after having the awards this year, it will raise awareness for next year and we can get more participation. Many folks don't visit the forums, so they never heard about it. I'm going to suggest that all of the winning caches have a link to the awards forums so folks will be expecting it at the end of next year.
  15. A local caching family got featrued in the local news. I just watched the piece online...and I saw my coin! Woo hoo! News Piece
  16. WOW!! A GeocoinFest! and it's right in my own area! I'm glad I noticed this thread!!!d OK, sorry, the excitement is starting to take it's toll! I've got soda and chip boxes stacked to the rafters...I've got cases of poker chips, there are boxes of things going in to the goodie bags...and we've still got a ways to go!!!
  17. I'm not real crazy about the consolidation of threads... In the past, when I announced a new design, I would start a thread. Then, when I started taking orders, I would open a new one. A lot of folks handled it this way, and that was great by me. When someone announces a coin, I like to look at it, express my interest, and then move on. I don't have the time to read every single post about how many each person is interested in. When I saw a new thread pop up announcing sales had started, I knew when to place an order... Now, if I really want a coin, I have to continually sift through a thread to check for new info. As long as the original thread is locked, I'd still like to see a new thread once orders are being accepted... my two geocoins worth...
  18. Just pack shorts and T-shirts, they take less room. You'll get a clean T-Shirt in the goodie bag, so don't bring extras!
  19. Yep, you did. GeocoinFest is in 12 Days!!! (Oops, wrong thread!)
  20. WooHoo - The Cach-u-nuts are leaving in 9 days!!! We will be bringing our version 2 Rubicon coin for trading and our new Top 40 record coin available for trades as well as some misc "2005" coin trading material We will also have a NEW coin release available at The Caching Place vendor table - We're only bring 150 with us so you won't want to miss out!!!! Can't wait for the FUN!! I got a package in the mail from you guys today! Woo Hoo!
  21. I think we have all learned a lot here. Hindsight is 20/20. If I could re-do all of my bad decisions...I would be a wealthy man right now!
  22. The rec center is located in a large sports park. There is a playground area nearby...but not within sight of the meeting room. Weather permitting, there is plenty of room to run around. Also, if you are staying for the event on Sunday, we have a monster sized inflatable jumper on order for the day.
  23. I thought this was going to be a coin about a horse!
  24. I may take you up on that! Since we don't get to own them anyway, by trading them to each other, they can aquire some mileage to them. I'll also have a V.1 Moun10Bike coin in my pocket! If you find me, you can log it!
