  1. The SatSYNC user guide has a small section (12) on geocaching, but it doesn’t mention how the sorting works. Anyway, from experience, the geocaches are sorted in ascending alphabetical order. I also think that each name is unique. If the name is too long, you can move the joystick to the right in the OOI Menu, while the cache is selected, to reveal the trailing characters. If you want to quickly edit all the names so that the caches are sorted order in a specific order, you can try a GSAK macro as mentioned by the K9 Crew in this topic.
  2. Geocaches are imported as OOIs, so you’ll find them in the OOI Menu.
  3. Do you know which version of software you had on the satmap? I've had mine for nearly three years and I know that earlier versions of the software had limited support for geocaching. However, the latest software, 1.5, which was released in November 2010 is fantastic for geocaching and enables the device to display spoiler pictures in addition to other useful information. You can check out the new features by using this link. The device can now also hold considerably more caches. Customisation has always been straightforward via the Settings Menu, e.g., you can decide what information appears in the 2 or 4 data boxes on the GPS Map Screen. It may be worthwhile to reconsider the satmap or contact the support team as they are quite helpful.
