I had the screw on button back off and my gps fell, lucky it landed in some sand. To fix that problem I put a drop of lock tite on the screw. I'll probably never get of but thats OK

I Use Garmin city select north america v6 to do what you want to do. It covers Canada My brother-in -law lives in Calgary and I can use city select to plan a route from California right to his door. You may have to spend some money and get it.

I know said I was new to geocaching, but I do know that the travel bugs I have come across didn't have any directions as to where they were to go. So that would mean they can go any direction.
