  1. I was told by a friend that I logged one of my own woops. Went through and low and behold I did on mistake. I just don't feel right about logging my own even after searching for and finally finding it. It just makes me mad that people feel that they have to move a cache that far without letting me know .
  2. Thats what I feel like doing.
  3. So, if you shouldn't step on graves what are the guys that cut the grass suposed to do , Jump alot?
  4. What is it with all you people and chevys Let me know if you need help getting up the hill.
  5. 18 finds of 23 hunted one day was the best I could do. and I was dog tired by the end. Plus I was getting on the wifes nerves by noon. See will not go on a marithon hunt with me again, but still loves to cache.
  6. What I'm refering to in the question is, listing terracaches that are in the are on GC cache page.
  7. Just a question. Would it be ok to mention in the discription that I have other caches in the area that are listed on another website (witout mentioning the spacific site)? Example-I have other caches in this area that are not listed on this site. Please feel free to seek them out if you like this one.
  8. This is true. I was out checking on my caches one day and ran into some out of staters. Had a wonderful time chating with them and was looking forward to what they would put online. Well nothing for over a month. Then one day out of the blue there it was. They got busy when they got home and forgot to log their find. I now this isn't the reason for all but some.
  9. I usually find a location were I would like to place a cache . Walk around for a while. Put my hand up to my face and make a Jeremy pose and then it comes to me. Then I go home and make the container. Easy
  10. What I find funny is when they sign TNLN"SL" in the log at the cache . Thats sorta a given since your reading it .
  11. Don't all plastic containers found under a pile of sticks , in the middle of the woods , hold items of great value? Why else would they be there?
  12. Lets all chip in, build a rocket, draw straws for the ride and find out.
  13. Nice job shooting at the messenger. If you have a problem with the rules contact Jeffco and make shore you let them now that your feelings reguarding their rules are the way we all feel. I don't recall your name being brought up among the people that were working with them on the guidlines. Thats right nobody cared enough when they were setting the guidelines so now we can complain about them. Yikes, with attitudes like that no wonder places like Boulder flat out say no. At least there open to the idea of our sport and the people that I personaly spoke with including rangers had more questions to ask, and got more excited about what we do, then rules to lay down. They think it is a great use of the open space and are excited to learn all they can about it. It only takes one person to practice CITO to make it a nicer place for all of us. What the heck is wrong with that. So, when I see trash when I'm caching I should leave all the trash I see because not enough people give a cr*p that its there? Or better yet don't mention it at all and do whatever you want because its a waist of time anyway. If you don't like the idea leave the trash lay because nobody cares anyway or maybe they could raise our taxes a little more, for trail trash collectors, so that none of us have to do anything and everyone can throw whatever they want anywhere they went. Wouldn't that be great!
  14. Jeffco now has guidlines in place. Just to let everyone know they are allowing only a certain number of caches in each park or open space. The spot I picked only allows one and i'm it WOOHOO . Unfortuitly if they only allow one in a park that means no multis, two in a park means one two stage multi and no other caches ect.. Also the permits will be valid for one year from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31. Please when you talk to them thank them for working with us and not being close minded like other counties in our area. If we practice good caching habits and CITO they may loosen up in the future, ya never know. Also mention CITO when you submit your paperwork they realy like that.
  15. Well it was so far off I want to log it as a find
  16. Another thing, its called hole in a log not rockpile next to a log.
  17. I would be a little more understanding except it went from a hollow log to a rock pile 10' away. Thats a little much for a regular size cache. I got real lucky on my find. Just happend upon it.
  18. I went out today to check on my caches. All was OK except for one. It was moved . Spent 20 min. looking . I feel like I should log a find. Why do people think they need to move a cache that was in a good location to begin with. I just don't understand people sometimes .
  19. Anyone have any good stories about finding a M&P?
  20. I feel very fortunate to be one of the last to do a M&P cache. I always enjoyed the hides. They were always creative and when a new one poped up I would leave the house extra early to give myself alot of extra time to hunt. None of them were quick drive up and grabs even though you could park almost on top of some and not even know it. When I saw what happened I didn't now weather to or
