  1. Ignore me! I forgot to upgrade to v4.4.3! Mery Christmas everyone!
  2. Can anyone help? I have had to re-install my v4.4 Memory Map and now I can no longer import .GPX format - can anyone tell me what I have missed? Thanks.
  3. My Landrover 90 is infact considerably smaller than most BMWs, Mercs etc etc that you see clogging up town centres
  4. It certainly is! I tried a previous known working route and I get the same error. interestingly it lets me do a similar route that I created as a .kml file though. Any ideas?
  5. Apologies if its already been mentioned. I'm trying to upload a .gpx route to run a pq and get the following.... Any ideas? Thanks Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 6. I'm trying to upload a .gpx route so that I can run a query and i'm getting errors - anyone else having a problem?
  7. Not a moment too soon for this icon. Annette (my Wife) is currently nursing a fractured rib and serious bruising after being attacked by a cow (she was nearly killled and that is no understatement) which went for our dog (Max was on a very short lead and did nothing to intimidate the cows) This one particular cow went for Annette (and not necessarily our dog) and Max ran off (we didnt find him for over an hour) and eventually Annette (with my help) managed to extricate herself from UNDER the cow. We retreated behind a barbed wire fence and this cow (bearing mind our dog had run off) was still trying to attack us. Eventually the farmer came out and blamed us for having a dog as there were calves present! Im not apportioning blame here but he knew which cow had attacked us before we pointed it out! The only thing I can suggest to anyone caching with a dog and you see cows is to be very carefull, please. The cache by the way is GCH56J - This is no reflection on the cache, which is great, just please be aware of the possible danger if you see cows with calves and you have a dog. An ex-farmer has since told us that cows (if they see a dog) may try and sit on them to kill them and that you should NOT under any circumstance enter a field with calves if you have a dog because cows can be unpredictable.
  8. Just to let those of you know who met the Bedlington Duo... Dino passed away yesterday (9th June 2006) aged just 4 years old. He and his Brother Max loved to go caching with us - we have no Kids, Max & Dino are our kids. Dino was greatly loved by both of us and is going to be desperately missed by the both of us, as well as Max. He may be gone from this world but he is never going to be forgotten. Annette & Mark
  9. A small spanish waiter? How will that help?
  10. D'oh!!!!! I thought I read all the posts as well!!!!!!!
  11. How do I change the password that has been sent to me? This the first thing I always do when I get a password mailed to me.
  12. Thanks for that! Don't know about the 1000 by Christmas but you never know!
  13. Yup all sorted now and used in anger today! Worked a treat - Thanks everyone.
  14. Still getting used to this paperless stuff Milton! I never used to carry 500 printouts - I guess i'm still thinking in terms of tree counts!!!!!!
  15. OK blonde moment passed - I think I sorted it!
  16. I'm obviously having a blonde moment here - I now have 500 caches in GSAK but only want to export 13 of the first page into a .GPX file - Any one care to point me in the right direction???!!
  17. Are there any "Idiots guides to GSAK" or "GSAK for dummies" books out there then?!! I've just downloaded GSAK but its a bit er overwhelming!
  18. Yes basically! Having to generate the PQ then wait for an email can be a problem. Its the sending of the data to the PDA thats the problem - I end up with a PQ generated .GPX with caches I dont want (OK) or I have 15 separate .GPS files on the PDA that I have to keep opening!
  19. When looking for caches as an example we might look at all the caches in an area and decide say of the 20 on page one of our search of a location we would like to do numbers 1,3,4,7,11,17,19 & 20 Currently I dont know how you make a PQ generate that result - I could download all the .GPX individually which takes a while. Obviously I could just ignore the ones in the PQ but I just wondered if there is a .GPX merge facility.
