Where is the link to adopt a cache out? I have gone through, what I thought, was all of the forum pages with relevant info and I can not find it LOL Can someone please let me know How and Where I would go to adopt out one of my caches Thank you

I, personally, would be more inclined to buy single coins as the sets are WAY out of my price range.

I dont know if you have already visited the BBB ( Better Business Bureau ) site yet or not BBB Website but I would definatly be filing a complaint with them about this. I am in Canada and I am guessing that you are in the USA so I provided the USA BBB link I also agree that you should be going after your credit card company to get your $59.00 back. just hit Menu... then Geocaches.... then highlight the cache ( unless it has a + sign next to it then you have to hit enter before going on) then hit GOTO.

I am so sorry you had a bad time with the CS. I , on the other hand, had a good experience ( after talking to a non-english speaking male) with the Canadian repair center. My Explorist 210 wouldnt hold way points and then wouldnt work at all I called them and they told me to send it in with a copy of the original bill of sale ( for the year warrenty) and within 7 days I had a brand new unit in my hands. I dont know if it is because I yelled at the poor guy or what but he understood I was NOT going to let this go! I really do hope you get your Magellan unit either repaired or exchanged or something, because a summer without caching is like a fish without water......dead

I have read and reread and I cant figure out how to make a different filter or database for my puzzles , cities etc. Is there some kind sole out there that would be willing to walk me step by step through it ? I am a very quick learner thanks

Well, guess what santa brought me for christmas LOL I got the bundle ( came with mapsend lite). Now i am pretty good with figuring things out, normally, but i have read and reread all the manuals and online info i can find about uploading maps to my gps. I am in canada so makes sense that I need a canadian map. I got a hold of MapSend S&D Canada and I figured WOW this is gonna be so awesome! WRONG! I can get everything working and saved but when i go to upload the saved regions to my gps it says i dont have a serial port free ( well duh i am using USB) and when i save it to the SD card ( the setting that is) it saves as an .img file and my gps wont read it Argh! Frustration is closing in on me and I wanna chuck somethig across the room lol Can anyone please help me (be gentle ok). Thank you

Oh i am keeping innocent usage of a name in mind, but I guess it just shows how easy it is to impersonate someone. Never fear though ... I will not give up caching LOL too much fun even with people who are trying to make it difficult. Everyone knows who the real people are so it is all good. That is crap!! How can someone just up and use someone elses name? Should we all be concerned that this is happening? Who would stoop so low as to take a user name of someone who has great standing? Should DocMagoo or Chillibusher be worried? How about mtn-man? or anyone else with a good standing? I hope this gets solved ASAP and sorry about any problems this has caused you. Agassiz_Angel

Caching is very addictive and even though I have only got 6 caches under my belt I still think it is pretty fun I still am learning about my GPS but it is fun and the kids love doing it Thank you again for all your help, advice, links and welcomes It is very appreciated. After being pointed to the right forumn from WeightMan ( Thank you from this newbie) I am sending out a plea. Are there any other cachers in the Chilliwack area of British Columbia that would not mind us joining them or their families caching periodically? I am new to this so please take it easy on me LOL I have my own gps unit and goodies so it would just be a matter of friendly hunting. Thank you agassiz_angel
