The original, final cache in Homestead, GCMKKF, Bay Look Out Point, is back up and running and according to a message I got from QOCMike, it is the best cache near Homestead.

I have tried to transfer ownership of a TB but the person that I tried to transfer it to never received an e-mail for the transfer to occur. Any suggestion? Is there a problem with the notification process?

The cache in Homestead, Florida has been archived. If no one has an objection I will pick out a new final cache and post it here.

I have a TB in a Nascar race. It has been traveling for 5 yrs. Someone in Maryland picked it up and has kept for 9 months. I didn't contact them for a long time but about a month and half ago I e-mailed them to find out if they still had it or lost it. I was OK with the possibility that they lost it or misplaced it. This travel bug was destroyed once when a tree where it was hide got chopped down. I replace it with a backup car. They never wrote back after many e-mails from me. Just to ignore my e-mails is the height of rudeness and does not exemplify the friendliness and other high values that I have seen from other geocachers.

Martin Truex JR is bogged down in Maryland for 9 months. He may move along soon.

Martin Truex Jr wins race #11 at Pikes Peak and win #8 for Martin. On to Texas Motor Speedway. It is is still a long ways to go to Texas, Atlanta, and then Homestead. Took 14 months to go from California to Pikes Peak. But had a ball traveling around the West.

Thanks again QOCMIKE for the lastest update. It is hard to believe my car has been on the road from California since Nov, 2006 and its last NASCAR cache. It has had a great time touring the West. Keep an eye open because Martin Truex Jr is right near Denver and may make to it to Pikes Peak this week.

Well, Martin Truex is roaming around out West, picking up several states for his map of states visited.

Well, another backup car for Martin Truex Jr is coming out of the garage and heading to Rancho Cucamonga to continue the race.

I'm heading to Florida on March 27th from Auburn, NY If anyone needs help moving their car, let me know where it is. I travel I81 to I66 to I95 and go to Groveland, FL, 30 miles West of Orlando.

It looks like Martin Truex TB is missing again. Garage Sale cache in CA was taken. I will wait to see if he shows up or send out another backup car. Crash and burn just like NASCAR. I want to see Martin finish the last 4 tracks. Thanks Mike for your efforts to update the race.

Thanks QOCMIKE for the congrats on winning the NASCAR 2005 TB Race. Martin Truex, Jr. won the Indy leg. Once Martin crossed the finish line there, the victory can't be taken away. He just won't be able to win any other legs until he returns to Indy and gets picked up properly.

Unforturenately, Bjorn74 did not know he had to leave the TB at Indy. I've asked him to return it to Indy or at least put a note with it for it to return to Indy when he places it at another cache. A little penalty lap to keep it in first.

Indy - 4th win in a row for Martin Truex, Jr TB. Woo Hoo!! On to Milwaukee.
