Why do people put food in caches?

Don't put food in a geocache we call this Bear Baiting. Food attracts animals and your cache could be infested with bugs, snakes, fish if it is underwater, or it can get stolen and dragged back to a den and destroyed. DON'T PUT FOOD IN A GEOCACHE!
