thank you all for your responses im going to go ahead and buy isecticed and give it a go i think if i use it within reason maybe 1 or 2 a week i should be fine plus brainsnat made a good point on one of the other forums a little insectiside or limes disease pretty easy decision

iv always been told deet works great but can give you other problems ill do some reaserch on it maybe the scientist changed there mind again

does anybody have any home recipes or know where i can buy safe bugsprays prefferably without deet that you have tested and actually work against ticks where i live lymes disease is a big deal i had one on me yesterday which i believe was one luckily i found it on my shirt also what is the best way to apply this stuff just spray it everywhere on yourself or just at any possible openings and hope they dont go past it thanks for your views

if a geocacher found a hundred dollar bill or something comparible would fair trade rule apply here obviosly were not going to be carrying something comparible is this just the generosity of geocacher who put it there i know this would be very rare but if i came across this i would be very tempted to take it im interested in your views

i have a magellan gold it has a screen for averaging coords but it just counts and when i move it it starts counting again is this the averaging i need for setting up a cache it doesent seem to calculate 1 single number at the end like i beleive it should any help or tips would be appreciated

my first and only is a magellan gold bought it 5 years ago for hunting but really never used it just a couple of hunting trips where i really didnt need it so it sat and collected dust for a while now that im geocacheing i found a use for it and dont feel like i wasted a ton of money, by the way great story sorry i laughed a little

which is better for caching wgs 84 or nad83 or are they the same thanks........

it is very possible i do it for my caches the maps from google work great im not sure about the others you can try to use the scale and pace beads this can be tough because your looking for a needle in a hay stack if you have good clues makes it much easier i also take along the gps to zero in on cach if i cant locate it good luck

question about populated area caches, the town i live in and towns around have hundreds of caches most in populated areas im concerned about doing these from a legal point if these caches are on the site should i take it that the owners of the cach has permission to have the cach there for instance i tried one in town and it was outside a bank i dont mind dealing with neighbors just the owners of the property thanks for any answers
