Cool! Updating the logs helped - thanks a lot!

The drafts page says "You have no pending drafts."

Most caches that I have found and logged appear with a smiley on the map, but some show an exclamation mark instead. What does it mean? Is it a bug? There is no legend to the symbols. Happy Hunting ;-)

Hello, can someone please help me? My 64s worked well until I created a few new Pocket Queries. When I load the gpx-file and the ...wpts.gpx into D:\garmin\gpx and start my device the map shows all the waypoints like parking, stages of multicaches etc, but no caches. When I use pocket queries that I have created a long time ago (without changing them, just updating) everything is fine, I see waypoints AND caches on the map (OSM). Any ideas out there how ti fix this? Thanx to everyone in advance! Peat alias Fernwirkkopf Add. info: The map on geocaching.com shows caches of old and new pocket queries. WRONG!!! Read the law and you will find out, that GS has the choice! And even if it was right: They charge Euopean customers more - not just SLIGHTLY MORE - for no just reason. If it is all just about money - and I am sure for GS it is - they charge extra and on top of that I am sure they HAVE chosen the EU country with the lowest VAT. Just to increase the profit even more. I hope no-one signs up for a premium membership as long as the rates for all have gone back to a comparable level. I hate this kind of attitude - forget about the ideals and good plans that you had in the first place and live and act for nothing but the profit. What a miserable life!

I live in Germany, I don't trust PayPal and I don't want to send my credit card details via Internet. So I have sent 30 US$ cash to Groundspeak in 2012. No problem. I did it again in Nov 2013 and told GS that the cash is on the way. They never received it and told me about this strange european law that made them pay VAT to Europe. This law really exists (since 2003) but gives GS the choice to pay the VAT rate of ANY european country for their customers in ALL european countries. Why did they not choose Luxembourg (15% VAT) for the good of their european customers, which is us? Even if they had chosen Hungary, which has the highest VAT all over Europe (27%, why would they do so???) it would not be 30 Euro all together. After three months of eMail-conversation with Groundspeak (if you are intersted I can send it to you - contact fernwirkkopf@googlemail.com) I came to the following conclusions: 1. This law about VAT is stupid but real. 2. GS did not reply to my explanation of the law and the fact, that they can choose. 3. When I asked about the VAT since 2003, the year, the law became valid, GS told me that they have paid all the VAT since then. 4. When I offered to send 30 US$ plus 19% they told me they were - all of a sudden - not accepting cash anymore. 5. Which leads to my conclusion that the reason for charging europeans more than US-citizens can not be anything but greed. 6. Can anyone see a different reason? I hope so, because I don't want to believe that GS has lost all their idealism for money. 7. If GS sees non US-customers as second class customers and so try to make them pay more - well... Decide for yourself what you want to call this attitude. Happy Hunting everyone!

No, all in the Asian part of Turkey. But You are right, they still want to get into the EU. Don't ask me why. They're better off without it.

You are right, Lil Devil, the Groundspeak stats are correct. I create my stats with GC Statistic and they consider Turkey as Europe. Thanx for clearing this for me!

My public user profile shows a map named "Funde in Europa" with the finds in Turkey. Not sure what page You are looking at, Lil Devil.

Until recently my finds in Turkey were listed under Asia, now Turkey is considered Europe according to the Groundspeak statistics. Why has this been changed? Turkey is 97% Asia.

I use GCStatistic 1, Version 1.9.1 to create my statistics and for upload to my Geocaching.com-Profile. Usually I add the "My Finds" pocket querie to the queue (on geocaching.com), then start GCStatistic, request new GPX-file, create new statistics and then upload it to my profile. Since the beginning of May (approximately), when requesting the new GPX-file I receive error "Unexpected Server Response (302)", so I have to import the GPX-file manually to create the new statistics. This works, but when I try to upload the new statistics to geocaching.com I receive the same error again. Can someone help me??? Thanx!!! Peat alias Fernwirkkopf
