  1. Still a rookie at this Geocaching thing but after going out 2 weekends and spending more time driving from cache to cache I discover the benifits of a preium member. This is great I agree. I figured 30 is not that much money to spend on this for a year. It takes a lot of time and effort to keep all of the servers up and going. i also know that it is not a cheep thing to keep running. I like the site being non commercial. I will keep paying the 30 bucks to keep it that way.
  2. I explain geocaching as a "treasure hunt" (hay we do this with a 3 year old sometimes.) But when we get closer to the cache all I can think of is that game we used to pay as kids. "Your getting warmer, warmer, burnning up. Now your Cold"
  3. I must say that it has replaced TV watching and sitting at home doing nothing.
  4. I dont mind going to each cache site and downloading the way points. I just wish there was some way to download the e-book format of the site or better yet a group of sites. Like wen you check on the waypoint that you want to down load you can also check a bok to put it into e-book format.
  5. I live in southern Indiana and we go to Dayton Ohio a lot. Is there any easy way to find geocaches on the way. I have tried to go withing so many miles of my home location but I never seem to get out of Indana with any of my searches. I thought it would be nice to stop a few time along the way to find a few caches.
  6. We have a Dell Pocket PC and it is great. It is so much easier clicking a screen then turning pages. The very best thing is while my husband is driving to the next cache I can play Solitaire!
