  1. Yes, Mike Ott would be a good guy to contact. GC.com ID is mikeott.
  2. Yeah, well you've been caching for a total of 2 weeks and you sure do a lot of bitching and moaning. You can't join a group of people and start off whining about what you don't like about things. It's bad form ol' boy. The answers you've received here have been very diplomatic and patient but your attitude stays the same - confrontational. We as a community accept the rules we follow. If you don't like these rules, you don't have to participate. Plain and simple. Take it or leave it. No skin off our back. Yada, yada, yada.
  3. Actually, he has 37 logs dated before his "Member Since" date. Let's get him!
  4. Well, you know how they like to fatten up before they hibernate....
  5. I have the Gilsson that I got on eBay for <$20. It works great. Instead of using it on the outside of the car, I got the suction cup windshield mount thingy. I was too concerned about closing the window in the cable. And it is a pain when opening the door with a cable running through the window. My 2cents.
  6. Do you have an actual coordinate as a point on the property line? What coordinates system is used? There has to be some sort of starting point.
  7. Anyone working on a GPSr along with similar specs? Hehehe!
  8. Just take the seconds, divide by 60, and add this as the decimal to the minutes. Done! i.e. 40°52'30" = 40°52.5'
  9. A Halloween party, eh? Who are you going dressed as? Anyone we know? Hehehe.
  10. I have had some very large GSAK databases - over 500 waypoints - loaded and have not come close to exhausting all of the memory. There is no way to expand the memory, but I don't see it as a problem unless you chew up the memory some other way. How much memory does it come with? I get about 1400 cache listings on my Palm IIIxe which has a total of 8 mb.
  11. This could be a good thing too. Kind of like an External Reference file in AutoCAD. Your main map file is always current.
