  1. So I went into Cotswolds (an outdoor shop in the UK for those who don't know, and they suggested that a factory reset may solve this problem. And you know what its worked!! I have lost any tracks and waypoints that were on my device but i can reinstall them from my laptop. If anyone else is having this problem this might fix it!
  2. I see why this would help for your own caches uploading ive done it myself loading them onto the SD card, although the Card in my 64s actually has all the OS Maps on for Great Britain. So I really dont want to mess them up! And I did update my firmware from 2.60 to 2.80 on the device.
  3. Thanks for the help guys, i think im going to pop into Cotswolds over the weekend and explain the situation. It may also have something to do with when i plug in anything through USB it automatically corrects any errors that windows sees as a problem. This migt of actually corrupted the file it needed to work. But who knows im still waiting a reply from garmin on the matter.
  4. Im having an issue it may be just me being stupid, but i purchased my Garmin 64s last week and i was really impressed with the function that it has preloaded geocaches on. Today i went to use the function and it registered as 0 geocaches nearby. I also know that i have downloaded caches off the geoaching.com website onto my GPS. I also knew that the nearest cache was less than 500m away. does anyone know how this could be resolved or why it is happening? Thanks Luke
