Trail Mongers

Well all I can say about the NEW SEARCH (really) FEATURE.... It STINKS in plain English.... After jumping thru hoops to get where I want. (The newest caches in New Hampshire) It gives me up to 18 miles and then BAM !!!! I'm in Washington State !!!!!!! Just what a good search engine should do right ????? Now I followed all the instructions per the Lackeys. It's time to start leaving things that work alone. New is not always better. I'm ready to give up the P.M. and the word in this area is let's all give it up. Maybe if enough give up P.M. and it hits the pocketbook someone will say "Time to put things back the way cachers want"

You just hit my nerve....right on...cachers with 6 or 8 thousand caches and 5 or maybe 17 hides. They are just like leeches.

Why are we going from the frying pan into the fire ??? The new maps don't work on my droid and now no live map on the road. The big thing is I can't evan print out a map to take with me now... I really think the caching community is willing to pay the 3 or 4 dollars more to keep the Google maps. Come on Groundspeak step up and keep your customers happy.

I have not seen this mentioned but I cannot print any of the new maps....comes up with nothing on the page. When we go to a new area we print a map with the caches on it and use it as a guide.. What is going on ??? It seems like were going backwards here.

Mike thanks for the reply. I will check out the site you sent me when I can get to it. I was told every town and city has a ground zero in it as a point of referance. Bob.

I know nothing about this..... How do I find the ground Zero in any town ?
