  1. These will be going on sale from my webstore this Saturday (11th) at 7pm CET. The coins will be £20 each (5 versions each limited to 25 of each finish), but not all of them will be up for sale as I'm keeping a few extra copies for my family. Due to their weight (around 130g with velvet bag) the postage will cost a bit more than usual, starting around £4 or £5 (depending on location) for 1 coin.
  2. I wasn't expecting any coins, but got a small envelope in the post today with a nice surprise inside I had a quick look on the forums but didn't see anything else about it yet. Looks like it's a new holiday themed mystery coin. A big thank you to the sender
  3. They will probably be available from my online shop, and there will only be 25 of each version. I've been a bit late ordering them, so they'll probably only be available from the beginning of January.
  4. It's been a while since I posted an update for these. I've had quite a bit of trouble getting these made, but finally have some good news about them now. The first samples I got I wasn't that happy with, so wanted to get them redone. The factory I was using said they would redo them, and after a few emails from them saying they would send the updated artwork I didn't hear back from them and they ignored my emails for 3 months. When I did hear back again it was to say they would send the artwork in a few days and I never heard back from them again, meaning these weren't ready in time for my sisters wedding which was very annoying. I then decided to completely redo them with the factory I now normally use although they cost twice the price to produce, but after getting the new samples yesterday it's definitely worth it and they came out much better than I was even hoping - nice big and heavy with great texture and detail this time. They measure 2.5 inches wide, 5mm thick, made of stamped bronze and weigh 130g each. They have an inverted 3D sand dollar on one side (which I might use to make another smaller more affordable coin), textured metals, translucent and glow enamels (with part of the small designs printed on) and have the tracking info on the side (there will also be the non trackable versions just for my sister and family). They'll also come in a custom velvet bag too. So here are the 5 different versions (black nickel, satin silver, shiny silver, satin gold and shiny gold). I'm hoping to order these soon once I figure out the final numbers, so I can finally give the non trackable ones to my family at Christmas. And hopefully the trackable ones would go on sale a bit before.
  5. I've just received a remint of the Scarab coins. Mainly new versions but have got 25 more of the previous red/silver and purple/silver coins too. Here are the 9 new ones: Top Row (RE's): Orange/Antique Silver (x40), Brown/Antique Gold (x40), Blue/Antique Copper (x40) Middle Row (LE's): Green/Satin Silver (x20), Blue/Satin Silver (x20), Red/Satin Gold (x20) Bottom Row (XLE's) Antique Gold/ No Enamels (x10), Antique Copper/ No Enamels (x10), Green/Shiny Copper (x9) All the RE's (£15) and a few LE's (£20) will go on sale from my webstore this Saturday (9th) at 7pm CET. The remaining XLE's will only be sold on ebay though.

    Rhino Geocoin

Just want to let people know that these will all be going on sale from my webstore this Saturday (9th) at 7pm CET.

    Rhino Geocoin

In Order they are: Antique Copper Satin Silver Antique Silver Black Nickel Antique Gold The Black Nickel and Satin Silver are both very shiny, so were a bit hard to get good photos of using flash, which might be giving that effect. And I'm not completely sure on price for them yet - I think quite a few will also be going to some shops in South Africa so if I end up ordering quite a lot then the price should be a bit better.

    Rhino Geocoin

I just received the samples of one of my next coins this week - the Rhino Geocoin. I did see another rhino coin came out recently while the samples of these were in production, but I think they aren't too similar. They are another addition to some of my recent African themed coins, and measure 5mm thick (at their thickest point), 2 inches wide and will be trackable on geocaching.com with a unique icon. The front side is a highly detailed 3D design (based on a photo I took of a young Black Rhino taken at the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Kenya), and the back side is a rhino in grasslands (with a hard enamel finish for most versions, and soft enamel with epoxy for one version). I'm hoping to try and have these for early October, but due to travelling they could take until November to be available. For now here are the 5 samples I received (though some will have some small changes): Antique Copper, Silver and Gold (RE's) and Satin Silver and Black Nickel (White and Black Rhino LE's).

    The Yeti Geocoins

I finally got around to ordering the final coins of these, and they will be going on sale from my Webstore this Sunday at 7pm CEST. All versions are the same as in the pictures above. There are: 35 of the 5 coloured versions made. 25 of the 2 LE Sasquatch and Arctic Edition made. And 25 of the Glow in the Dark AE versions made - the majority of these will be ebay only.
  10. I've just received 4 new versions (3 RE and 1 2 Tone LE) of the African Safari coin this week. All of these along with my new Yeti coins will go on sale from my webstore this Sunday at 7pm CEST.
  11. All of the Africa ones are now sold out from my shop. I did sell quite a few to some shops in South Africa (which was why there weren't that many of some versions available including quite a few of the LE's) so some might be available from them in a couple of weeks. But I will also be re-ordering a few of the same coloured versions, along with some new colours and probably a new 2 tone LE (hopefully black/copper)- just to go on sale from my webstore since I didn't have many LE's to offer on my store this time. Just the last couple of remaining LE's from this time will go on ebay. I'm aiming to have the new ones around the beginning of August. And sorry about the people who got the 'not enough stock' message. It seemed to happen to quite a few people and I can't find a way of making this webstore stop people from adding coins to the basket once there aren't enough in stock (if anyone also uses that freewebstore and has an idea please let me know). It actually oversold quite a few coins but I did save a few in case that happened, so have enough to cover everyones orders that went through. I'll start packing up all the orders tonight and send them out early next week.
  12. It's about 4 hours until these and the Viking coins go on sale They'll be going up in about 10 minutes here
  13. There are 2 with reddish/orange beards (pictures are in the first post at the top of the page). The Gunnar version is slightly more red, and the magnus one is more orange. And if people want to know the minting numbers, there are 45 of each apart from the Artist Editons which are only 30.
  14. There are 40 of each version, apart from the 2 Tone LE versions which were 30. I have sold a few of these to some geocoin shops in South Africa, so there won't be loads of them in my webstore so they'll probably go quickly, but since they do seem popular I'll try and do a remint soon. The remint would be some of the same coloured versions, but with some new ones as well.
  15. Maybe with the clocks changing it's +2 hrs - I just know we're 1 hour ahead of the UK. But they will go on sale at 7pm CEST. I'll try to make sure to post a message a little before with hours to go until the sale starts on here and on facebook. And for the price they will be £12 each.
  16. Isn't it ... GMT+2 hours ... ?? Seems to be according to the time converter you linked ... ?? Maybe with the clocks changing it's +2 hrs - I just know we're 1 hour ahead of the UK. 17. The coins finally arrived today I'm still going through them but so far they are looking good, so they will go on sale from my webstore this Saturday (June 8th) at 7pm Swiss time (GMT+1). This link might help if you need to figure out the time difference: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

  19. There was a period where I was sending out quite a few Travel Bugs/Tags and coins (but mainly TB's), but now I rarely release any - mainly because I've sent out so many and feel I have enough travelling just now, but also because quite a few have gone missing. But for the actual geocoins I have released, I've sent them out just in the protective sleeve with a laminated note/description in one side. I've had mixed success with those so far, but I know at least 2 or 3 have gone missing/been stolen on their travels so far, and another one 'stolen' by someone I sent it to who said they would release it in their country, but then they never logged it and just kept it and didn't respond to emails - even though I know they've bought other coins from me afterwards. After that I was getting annoyed with other people taking my coins so I've mainly just sent out laminated copies. I know not everyone likes the copies but I make sure they are good quality photos of the coins, normally quite large (but small enough to fit in most caches) and then have the mission on the back. I also make sure people know it's a copy in the page description so they aren't disppointed if they go to a cache hoping to find the actual coin. I've had better luck with those - with most still travelling and just one or two going missing, and I get to keep the coin and can just make and send out another laminated copy if it goes missing.
  20. I've ordered these 8 versions - but the pink/silver one isn't being made for the final coins. That will change to Black Nickel. The link to my webstore where they will be sold was removed from my previous post, but I'll try and post the links to the coins once they are available both here and on ym Facebook Group.
  21. I've ordered these 8 versions, but the pink/silver one is changing to black nickel for the final coins.
  22. I've just ordered these and the African Safari coins together - the Yeti coin I'll have to order a bit later. But I should have these in about 4-5 weeks so they should be on sale around the beginning of June. There will also be a Glow in the Dark Artist Edition of these - I'll post photos of those once the coins arrive.
  23. Thanks for the comments so far I've just managed to order the coins today - so I should have them in about 4-5 weeks (around the beginning of June).

    The Yeti Geocoins

I'm not completely sure on the final price yet, but I think it'll probably be around £11-£12 for most versions.
  25. This is another of my new designs which I just recieved samples of and will be coming out soon - the Yeti Geocoins. These measure 2 inches high (shaped), 3mm thick with regular and translucent hard enamels and black nickel finish. They are also all trackable on geocaching.com and will have their own icon. I designed these over the winter when we had a few feet of snow - so that was the main inspiration behind the coin. And like my new Viking coin I wanted to make another coin shaped like a character that would be fun to take photos of in different locations. Below are the versions that will be made - larger photos can be seen on my Facebook Group. These will probably come out towards the end of May-June, and will go on sale from my webstore. I won't be doing reservations for these, but will post more information here and on the facebook group about the sale closer to when I will have them.
