  2. Ordered mine but it didn't show shipping cost?
  3. Got mine today........very nice, Thanks
  4. email sent for 1 of each.
  5. Don't know yet, my Christmas won't be till Jan.11th as I am at work, now heading to Thunder Bay to finish picking up the buoys, then icebreaking for awhile. Hope something nice waiting for me.
  6. I'll think about you guys playing in the snow while I'm back on-shift for 28 days. I get to play in the ice doing buoys from Valleyfield to the Welland Canal. Christmas and New Years at work again.
  7. Another point, remember to give each map a different name, or you'll only get one map.
  8. yep; still trying to find my nose!!!
  9. Have all the coins been shipped yet? The ones for Ontario, I'm listed as the last name on the Bronze.
  10. I get them about 1 every month. Using ebay toolbar...as soon as I open said mail it tells me its not real.....then I forward to spoof.
  11. Also, when you save them as your poi's you can add different folders to save them in.
  12. You should use the conversion program that came with gps. Thats how mine are loaded through card reader and laptop. My new laptop has a reader, can't wait for it to show up. edit: when you right click the map and name it; check the box next to name in right panel( you can only click one at a time); go to gps symbol in toolbar, load to harddrive; when finished, open conversion manager and load to sd card.
  13. gpscentral.......excellent service and very friendly. If there is a problem with an order, they call for clarification. No problems on returns either.
  14. I have both the 600 and 60C. Idon't load any map bigger than 64meg to the 600 as I found out the hard way that it can be corrupt if bigger than 64. Loaded 34 maps of Canada to 600's 1 gig SD card with card reader, via the conversion manager and and it only took about 1 min. The 60C is only able to hold 54meg? but still is my second choice for a GPS.
  15. If you outline the region you want, right click and then name it, you can load as many maps as you like. I have a 1gig in my 600 and have plenty of maps loaded.
  16. Try this...... http://www.fizzymagic.net/Geocaching/GeoCalc/GeoCalc.html
  17. Ok, here's how I load maps to my 600. In topo, outline the map you want; right click on it and name it; on the right side of screen, click on empty square to put a checkmark in box;go to button on toolbar that looks like gps; click to download to hard drive; it might ask for serial number, enter it. It will save all the data from map. Now, if you want to load straight to 600 connect it and turn on, now go to magellan conversion manager, load map, click on your map, load. This works for me.
  18. Correct on the serial number from about, the number on the battery cover won't work, missing a number at the start. That's how I found my 600.
  19. I get all my stuff from GPS Central; no problems and super fast shipping. If there is a problem they call.
  20. Here's how/ where you can unlock from:http://shop.garmin.com/cartography/mapsource/default.asp click on unlock from menu at left.
  21. Look's good........can't wait till we can order.
  22. I've openned 5 gal. pails this way; push down with your knee in center of lid and pry-up from side at same time.
