I just picked up a Venture HC, brand new in box, from Craigslist for $75. I'm still learning to use it, as it is, IMO, absolutely not intuitive like iPhones or many of the other touch screen smart phones. But, that said, all the GPS are like that, IMO. It seems quite accurate, gives me an impression that it's quite durable and, while I'd LOVE to have the perks of a $300+ unit, I'm VERY happy with the Venture HC for the money. I would definitely recommend the unit to a fellow newbie.

How old is it and have you had ANY issues with it?
