I am activating my first Travel Bug. On some TB homepages I see the bug's picture on the description and I want to do that. The only thing I have been able to do when I upload the picture is have it in a clickable link to the gallery. So, my question is how do I upload the picture to show when the homepage is opened?

That happened with the satellite lock with the first unit I purchased in November. I took it back to Wally World the next day and exchanged it for one that has worked perfectly! The first one I got was in a completely different type of box (a gold box if I remember correctly) and the 2nd one was in a white box. The units looked exactly the same, however. I would just take it back where you got it and exchange it. They checked the 2nd one right there in the store for me to make sure it was working.

I bought a Magellan Meridian Gold three weeks ago because i couldn't wait for my husband to buy it for me for Christmas... when I heard about Geocaching, I had to start RIGHT AWAY!! He would like to buy me some accessories for Christmas since he couldn't get the GPSr. I know I'd like some street mapping software, but which one? Also, what else should I ask for? Dash mount? I bought it at Wal-Mart and they only seemed to have the unit, no extras, so I have no idea what could be available for this! I think he would be looking to spend around $150-$200. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

TeamTeeGee, I notice that you have placed 4 caches already! There are so many in my area that I'm looking for just the PERFECT spot to place one. I should just bite the bullet, but every one I find seems so much more inventive than the last that I want to get a few more Ideas first!

I only learned about it 11/6/04 in the Parade magazine insert in the Sunday paper. By the 9th, I had my first GPSr and on the 10th I had found my 1st cache! I think I was hooked from the first paragraph! I just found my 25th today, and that is only because my boss won't let me out of work to Geocache! That dang job!
