Stellar Jr. got all the geocoins this Christmas and I didn't get any. The way things are going, I think she'll end up with more coins than me. But that's okay, at least I get to "discover" her coins. However, I didn't end up empty-handed, I did get a Garmin Nuvi 650 for the car. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas !!

Here's a picture of our tree. We're a bit late putting it up this year. We usually try to put it up the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year we put it up on the weekend before Christmas. For some reason, I think we're also missing a box of ornaments. I know we've got alot more (somewhere). Zane the Stellar Geo-Dog was quite excited once he saw the tree going up. Santa brings doggies presents too !!

Here's a game that was played at a few events that I've been to recently... Pick ten or fifteen geocachers who you know are definitely coming to your event. Look at each persons profile and write down the name of a geocache that they have hidden on a sheet of paper. (use only one cache per person) Opposite the title of each cache, draw a line for the cache owner to sign. Distribute a copy of this sheet to all attendees and they have to mingle and ask others if they are the owners of any caches listed on the page. It's a great way to meet cachers whose cache you might have found, but never met in person. Once each person completely fills out their paper, they hand it in. A random drawing can be held from all the correct sheets returned.

I received an envelope with lots of stickers all over (Santa, bears, and PENGUINS!). As soon as I saw the envelope, I knew that this was my Secret Santa Mission. Grabbed the scissors and carefully opened the package. Lots of goodies came out of this packed envelope. Received some 3D Christmas foam stickers, a penguin charm, a bunch of snowflake decorations, some angels and snowmen, 2 geocaching pins and some really NICE coins. - March of the Penguins coin - First Italian geocoin (this is really neat, because it has a picture of Galileo on the back, and Galileo made alot of important discoveries in my other hobby - Astronomy) - Frozen Buns Coin (another nice coin) - Dorkfish Seahorse (purple) - this is a really cute coin THANKS SO MUCH PENGO FAMILY FOR THE WONDERFUL SECRET SANTA PACKAGE I really like the coins and all the other goodies. A close-up picture...sorry it's a bit blurry.

Merry Christmas to all. This is only my second post, as I was busy making finger sandwiches this morning then brought them to my daughter's school where her 7th grade class had a Victorian Tea Party and we listened to the high school choral group sing Christmas songs.

It's a bit too early in the morning for me to think of something original... So I'll just say MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL And to all may Santa bring you a nice pile of geocoins.
