  1. Ok i read about many people's hatred of micros and LPC's, but what about a twist to it. A magnetic key holder placed on the upside of the inside if the skirt of the LPC. it adds a slight challenge to your usual LPC.
  2. oh yeah blame the white guy, lol, sorry for the multiple post, dumb phone, i just drove through a dead spot
  3. Well then at the very least counseling to help you manage what money you do have, so as to make better decisions as to what to buy and not to buy. Budgeting what money you do make. Scubasonic I don't understand why people are painting him as financially irresponsible. A person could be budgeting perfectly and still screw up the math. I wholeheartedly agree with this. i agree also, as a matter fact i just overdrew my bank account by $3.50, yeah, it was a simple mistake on my. part not bad money manegement. live woth it and go on!
  4. no details? aww now where's your spirit of fun? do tell! Well, one was a cache that the FTF Hound Team couldn't find but other folks found later that day. The other was one where the Hound wasn't able to leave his house right away (he had kid duty until his wife got home), and all of the other locals were able to make a find before him. Another April Fool's Day gag I did involved welding an ammo can shut, and placing it as a decoy, about 10 feet away from a small cache, hid a little better than the ammo can. It even had some stuff in it to make it sound like it was the cache! Of course people found the can first...I can only imaging the frustration! welding an ammo can, hmmm that's messed up, but i like it
  5. For those just now joining us.... this is a hyopthetical situation i've not done it, or will i, just laugh at my stupidity and go on

  7. several years ago my dad heard of it, and told me about it, buit nothing came of it (due to me being in HS, i was more interested in the usual... sports, cars, girls etc.) a couple months ago i was looking at the daily deal at www.woot.com and it was a GPSr and someone asked if it would be useable for geocaching. and i was suddenly reminded about it. and here i am
  8. wow umm good info to know i didn't know that, that was illegal, (not for caching) i sometimes take a short cut while running down a stretch of tracks, hmmm not anymore
  9. no details? aww now where's your spirit of fun? do tell!
  10. Or use the maybe forthcoming tool that allows a publish time to be set in advance, and have the next one go live right after you think they will be getting home. I've heard of people requesting publish times for when they knew the regular FTFers would be stuck at work. Hey, if they get to have their fun their way, we can have our fun our way. Of course, I'm not likely to put that much work into it. I'm too busy making fake sigitems!! good ol' bittsen & write shop robert! i knew you'd have some positive likeminded input! lol this is even better than my idea. i just take comfort knowing that i'm not the only one that's crazy
  11. ok for the record I am not acutually gonna do this, it was just something i thought of and got a good laugh off of it. and i have no ill feelings towards those who live for the FTF. I just enjoy messing with people. and in retrospect i can proudly claim i have 0 FTF's! lol
  12. ok am i the only one that was thought about doing this? create a puppet accout. place a new cache, on the new log sign the name of the puppet account, and as soon as it is published, log it as FTF under puppet account. now i'm not asking if this is ethical, i'm sure i know the answer to that lol, but an i the only twisted sick person that would enjoy doing this
  13. interesting, i'd probably have a greater interest in larger caches if i had more an access to them, for now i get what i can
  14. The sky is Falling. and that's reason for concern? the satellites are coming with it!! what! does that mean i'll have to upgrade?
  15. freebies! i love freebies! share the wealth!
  16. Ok i've been wondering this for a while, what is everyone's favorite TRADITIONAL cache to find size-wise and container wise. Personally there are more micros in the areas i travel to, so micro it is, and (don't crucify me ) i like magnetic key holders, and LPC's. since i'm single the only swag i really leave is a cactus guitar pick. once the GF becomes the wifey and the kids come along, maybe i'll have a greater interest in larger caches. (by the way, i haven't found an ammo can yet, but i'm looking forward to it)
  17. Thanks.... there's a lot. Had at least two dozen geocoins disappear recently, too. Don't find that funny.... my response would be "How far from the cache did you bury the bodies? Don't want to turn cachers off by the smell"... "how far did fom the cache did you bury the body?" no no no, you kidnap them and sell their body parts for money to replace the tackables stolen
  18. This is an ambiguous question. It has no answer. What kind of park? One with a kids playground? One having many acres of natural land with hiking trails? One having tennis courts or other multiplayer devices? You have to figure out for yourself where a good hiding place is. Use the general guideline that you don't want it where a lot of people will see you hiding or searching for it. Be creative. playground, tennis court, pool yes someone mentioned bison tube, well i personally dislike bison tubes, and i like to make my cache container big enough for swag. but a bison tube is an idea i actully have a wicked idea for a replacement, in the same place thank you for everyone's input, lots of stuff to think about. i was originally gonna make it a LPC, but all the lightpoles are the old school no skirt type
  19. The sky is Falling. and that's reason for concern?
  20. ok now i understand.... hmm very interesting, wow
  21. umm will someone please tell me what i'm suppose to be worried about
