Books are an amazing idea, espescially if you combine geocaching with bookcrossing.com I found a book last night in a cache, which the placer believes is the first geocaching/book crossing crossover. Check it out.

I think cheating is the pits. It does affect loads of people. What's the point of logging a cache if you didn't find it? Cheats should be strung up and the co-ordinates posted as a virtual cache.

guns? that beats ours, although silverspoon managed to get a photo of the two police women holding a TB, which I know he'll stick on here v.soon.

If you can really help a TB, ie you're off around the world or going near to or exactly where it want's I don't see a prob taking more than one. Personal preference I guess though.

I'd love to see UK Geocoins, another dimension would be added.

Night caching is a lot easier at night. No worries from the public, although the police often ask a few questions. Please see my topic "Night caching and the police"

Was out with silverspoon doing a spot of night caching around the Bath area last night. Just finishing our last cache box common at about 1:45 AM, when we were stopped by the police as we were getting into the car. Obviuosly with 2 blokes messing about in muddy clothes at 2.00 am we looked well suspect. After about 20mins of explaining, showing our gps's and paperwork they FINALLY believed we weren't robbers or poachers. Just interested in other peoples run-ins/experiences with the peelers??
