  10. Good Afternoon Everyone! Just jumping back into Geocaching, and have been lurking in this forum. I have an innocent obsession with Geocoins as well as path tags. Don't have many, but starting to aquire, so I have a question. Is there an address database with everyones address? I would love to receive suprises, but would like to send them also to "introduce" myself to this great group! How do you get the address to send a coin to? How do you put yours in the mix? While I would be estatic to have everyone tell me that they would send me their address for a coin, i am really just wondering if there is a database? Sorry for rambling, and I apologize if this has been asked prior. Did a search and came up empty handed! Thanks!

  14. And I did not get a shipping notice . . . ?
  15. Grabbed one this morning - absolutely beautiful!
  16. Not sure if this will qualify as a "tradition" - but here it goes. As a child I can always remember that Christmas did not start in my house until Santa arrived in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. At that point, we could put up the tree, hang the stockings, and grab the Sears catalog to start wishing for gifts. My brother and I would wait with great anticipation for the arrival of Santa and usually had decorations on "standby" ready to go at the conclusion of the parade! I still hold to this tradition today, Christmas cannot start - until Santa arrives in the Macy's Parade! Ironically - everything comes down the day after News Years -the "end" of the holiday season in my family. Another tradition I hold true to.

  18. FS or Trade: Garming eTrex Legend. GPS is in great almost new shape, and has shown the way to a couple of caches. Bought, then barely used as Geocaching went into the background for awhile. Recently upgraded to an Oregon, so looking for a good home for the eTrex. Includes Manual, Quick Start Guide, Laynard, and the infamous Serial Cable - sorry, no USB connection. Will sell for 68.00 shipped - Paypal, Money Order, or will consider an even trade for 7 un-activated, trackable Geocoins! Last chance or she is going to eBay on Thursday - Make an offer if you think I am way off the mark, would like to see it go to a good home where she can continue the Geocaching Adventure!
  19. 68 dollars, preferably by Paypal, shipped.
  20. It is a basic unit that is good for starting. However, without the USB adapter for the serial cable it is difficult to load the caches into the unit unless you have the adapter, or a serial cable on your computer. You basically need to hand enter them. I want you to be fully aware of what the unit can and can't do. It is also a basic - (not color) screen.

Recently upgraded to an Oregon, so looking for a good home for the eTrex. Includes Manual, Quick Start Guide, Laynard, and the infamous Serial Cable - sorry, no USB connection. I will throw in the case for it - if I can find it. Looking for offers - might even consider trades if anyone wants to throw in something that gets my interest. maybe a bucket of un-activated, hard to find Geocoins?
  22. Sending out my coins today! Didn't see these in the large coin stash in my recipients profiles! Hope they like thse coins! One oversees, and one to the West! Dash away, dash away, dash away geocoins!
  23. Have a few older, non-trackable geo-coins that I am looking to trade to a good home. Since I am only recently returning to the sport of Geocaching, I would love to trade for trackables to set free in the world. I have no idea of "trade values" so just looking for a fair trade. Let me know if there is any interest! List of "Older, non trackable" geocoins from RedsknU2: Going to assume that all coins are from 2005, as some are marked and some are not. (2) Canadian Geo-coins - front shows map of Canada small script “Geocaching-the sport where you are the search engine”. Both are numbered and state that they are trackable at www.geocoins.ca. Both are in a small bag, have not been removed, but appear to be brass so I would list them as “good” condition at best. (1) Calgary Cachers Geo-coin – numbered, appears to also be brass. No bag – slight dis-coloration, small scratches. Good to fair condition. (4) Western Tennessee Geo-coins. Reverse states “Track this coin at www.travelertags.com“ Numbered. Each in small, heavy coin bag. Never removed. (2) 2005 Maine Geocoin – “Maine’s First Geocache” – Both in heavy coin bags – never removed. (3) 2005 North Carolina Geocachers Association that have a place to be numbered, but there is no number, only the beginning prefix “NC00”. In small Ziploc bags, never removed. Stamped www.travelertags.com. (2) 2005 North Carolina Geocachers Association that are numbered and stamped www.travelertags.com. Can e-mail photos or give further specifics if desired.
  24. Since I am returning to Geocaching after a 4 year absence, I think trading is the most desired outcome for my homeless Geocoins. I am really not a "what are they worth" person, since "worth" is determined by the person who wants or needs the item. I would love to trade for trackables, to set free in the world since I currently have none. I truly just want to follow appropriate "etiquette" and post appropriately. I do appreciate all the comments and feedback! Will send a list before posting in the trading forum. I have no idea of the desireabilty of the coins, so in trading, just looking for fair trades.
