  1. So all those posters were ignored but i am telling you in my case there will be no such case!
  2. Never understood why is there no report option on caches site?? In my area there are increasing number of caches hiding in old - ancient walls and buildings. I understand the owner wanted to show the beauty and the importance of the place but the result is stones falling out, stones that are wobbly etc. Of course once a stone is pulled out it will hardly stay in. Last week i visited such place again and it was a horror to look at! Stones all over the place on the ground. UNACCEPTABLE! I presented this problem once to a owner and nothing was done. Now i am going on a campaign with few months time. Than i will simply REMOVE them.
  3. Sometimes i don't log a DNF when i didn't use a GPS. I don't think it's fair to cache owner, if you don't play by "the rules"...
  4. I was thinking to email our police station and describe the game, maybe tell them also some rough locations. What do you think?
  5. Used plastic razor, those used for few shavings. AIDS anyone?
  6. So few weeks ago and just few miles from my hometown (in Slovenia) i found a travel bug from Cech republic, intended to reach North Amerika. Than i decided to relocate it into a cache very near this one i retrieved it from, but new location is a bit more inaccessible. The terrain is still cosidered easy but there's 20 min of hiking to do. Now i have my doubts that i should relocate it again, into a valley so more people will reach it. That way the bug will have more chanses to continue its jurney. To relocate or not to relocate?
  7. Thanks. There is private property but i would have to check land register to be sure where excately is the cache located. I mean, in 2 mile radius there's no building at all, except this one and he (cache owner) puts it only 20-30 meters from the house mentioned above. What the hell?? There's plenty of space and a lot of other attractions very close. I noticed also that house owner simply closed the access to left bank (it's a river), because his dog attacked someone (info from locals) and because it's his property anyway.
  8. So this cache is located in an amazing and more or less uninhabited valley but the owner dicided to put it literally just a stone throw away from a private house with three dogs, no fence and what not. Now, i know this place (probably better than cache owner) and in my opinion it's the worst location so far, in the valley and even in whole region. Yesterday i decided to find the cache anyway and my fears were realized. Dogs started barking so much that even the house owner came to invastigate. Should i contact cache owner? I also believe in my region there is no person who first checks the adequacy of the cache before publishing it.
  9. All hunts are different, adventures but this one was my first unusual from the others. So on sunday i visited a cottage on a hill nearby and i knew there's a cache located somewhere on the top. Never used a GPS to geocache and this one took me already few attempts. So i sat down, enjoyed the view on the Alps (covered with first snow this winter) and saw two people crouching infront of a pine, in the area of the geocache. BINGO "Must be geocachers." i said lol and waited them to leave. Than i 'took over' and later thanked them. Cool eh? That must be a rare event - geocatchers meet eachother or am i wrong?
  10. iam a rider too. iam too lazy to dismount even when i drop my whip so now you know my opinion
