I have just switched from a palm to a ipaq 2210. I have downloaded gpxsonar and gpxview onto my ipaq, but I can't get the waypoints from geocach onto it and into these programs...I want to test them see which is best? Need help asap as hoping to go out in morning Thanks gary

Thanks for the advice...have a couple of more questions. From what you have said I am looking at buying the ipaq 2210. If I buy the unit what map software would I load onto it, I want it for incar use. Also I am planning to run it off my etrex....does anyone do that out there and if they do where did they get the cable from. Thanks Gary

Being new to GPS I wonder if you more informed people could advise me. I have a basic etrex (Yellow)GPS, which suits my outdoor adventures and seems to be ok for geocaching. I have found that I can get a cable which will allow my garmin etrex to be coupled to a pda. But which one? I would like to be able to use a pda which will have maps and will be suitable for the car as well as all the other things pda's do. My budget is around £350 to £400 pounds. At present my pda I use for my everyday use is a palm 515 which is so outdated. Any advice would be most welcome
