  1. Don't know if I'm late to the bandwagon here but I would order 3 PS chapter and one each of the other three, depending on price.
  2. Mine arrived in WA yesterday - they look lovely! Thanks so much.
  3. My check for 2 coins is going in the mail Tuesday. Thanks!
  4. I like the coin third from the bottom: 2004 eruption, 25th anniversary text on the picture, hiker, blue sky, green rim <-- can the text in the rim be raised metal in the color so it's not "washed out" like the mockups? Thanks!
  5. Mt. St. Helens with some 25th anniversary text would be my vote. I think it is an important WA icon and a milestone year for the mountain. If there's a hiker it would be cool to make it female this year but please note: female = body shape, not dress - I'm not going hiking in a dress around here! (Especially not this time of year...)
  6. Ah the magic of aerodynamics is wonderful. Who would think those would even get off the ground!
  7. I used to work for an educational software company as a software tester and many of our programs required a login or a first and last name. I started coming up with different logins & first last combos by picking a noun or adjective and a cutesy animal name. Super Puppy, Sick Kitty and Space Weasel were some of my favorites and I started using superpuppy as my login for other things. For online games I use Valkyrie though, more intimidation factor there. Edited for spelling...
  8. Thanks, just posted over there with a bit more info. --superpuppy
  9. I just wrote it Friday so I'm still working the bugs out. It's a very basic Windows app - takes the GPX file of your pocket query waypoints and converts each waypoint into a text file. You can then drop the text files into the "notes" directory of your iPod and you have all the text of the cache notes available to you. No graphics (since I don't have a platform to test that on ) and due to the screen size might not be good for figuring out puzzles on the road. So far it's worked well (for the one cache I did this weekend) so I'm going to add a few more features and figure out how to make sure the file size doesn't go over the iPod file size limit on text files. I haven't looked at converting waypoints to vcf for those with older iPods without the "notes" directory but that may be an interesting challenge. If there's interest I can look into finding a place to host it for downloads but tech support may be pretty spotty - I'm a busy gal! --superpuppy Edit: I should just note that the iPod will display any plain text file 4KB or less (I believe this is the limit) in size so if your current waypoint tracking program will output plain text you can do this yourself with no need for additional software. Just export the waypoint to a text file and drop it in your iPod "notes" folder.
  10. Please add me to the list. I've thrown together a simple app that converts GPX files into individual text files of waypoint information. By naming the text file with the waypoint name I can load these onto my iPod and go paperless caching. It's very basic but it works pretty well.
  11. Hee, that would be me, thanks! *waves the eTrex Legend her hubby got her around in the air* I think he just wants me out of the house so he can outlevel me in World of Warcraft... I also enjoyed the WSGA holiday party tonight, thanks for making a newcomer feel welcome.
