  1. Hey all, i'm fairly new at this. I've recently hidden my first cache (GCR6W8). I've been attempting different scenarios using the HTML function. MY question for today , Is it possible to use HTML in the "Hints" section of a cache page? Thanks in advance...
  2. I think it should be a DNF. Technically if you must visit each stage of a multi to find the chace, i feel that someone should not be rewarded with a "FOUND IT" unless they go through the rigors that we all do to find the last stage (Cache) of a multi. People go put alot of thought into these multi's. Surprised to hear of this happening....
  3. Hey all. I just hid my first caceh. Now that it's been approved i would like to upload an image to be displayed withing the cache listing itself. I clicked on "upload image". And chose the appropriate picture. But once it was done the picture does not show up in the cache listing?? Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance..
  4. Sorry, forgot to mention one thing. I would love the ability to be able zoom in/out and pan. This would be helpful for me. Thanks again
  5. Hey All, I'm still getting my feet wet with this sport and i'm looking to learn from those of you that are willing teach. I'm posting here to see if anyone can give me some advice. I'm looking to find a weblink that will show me all of the active Caches in Ontario Canada that are listed on Geocaching.com's website. Any links, info, or advice of anykind would be greatly appreciated. THanks in advance
  6. 16 Attempts.. 15 Found... 1 DNF... 1 / 16 * 100 = 6.25% Hopefully as i get out more and claim more and more Finds and DNF's that number will stay relatively low. I'll do my best to keep it below the 10% mark.
  7. Sounds very interesting. I'm new to the sport, with only 16 finds. But enjoyed every single outing. It's bad to admit it but i'm hooked already. You put alot of thought into this cache. I'm amazed at just how much time and detail go into all of the caches out there, (hence the reason we all get hooked). I'm unfortunately quite a distance from kansas so i will be unable to make a trip down anytime soon. I will keep an eye on the logs to see what people have to say about your cache. Good luck with your newest.
  8. Hello all fellow Cachers. I'm starting this topic in an attempt to try and meet some of you out there that happen to be from the Lanark County Area. My goal is to find people to share caching stories, tips, hints, and anything to do with caching. I haven't been caching long but i've recently discovered that i'm hooked. I'm yet to meet anyone in the area who i can relate to on the topic of caching. So if anyone is out there in the Lanark County Area, feel free to introduce yourself. Cheers.
  9. I've been using my Magellan Meridian Gold for a few years now and it suits my every needs just fine. Now that i'm doing alot of geocaching i'm wondering if there is any possiblity that there may be an antenna for my model? Could anyone please share any info they might have. Thanks in advance.
  10. Thanks for the quick responses everyone, as you can tell i'm new to all of this and i'm eager about learning the tricks to the trade. I'll put your advice to good use. Thanks again.
  11. Hello fellow Cachers. I'm looking for some info regarding the Pork-U-Pine cache (GC1355). I live within 15 minutes of this cache but have yet to get around to it. I'd like to hear back from some of you as to your preferred parking location and approximately how long this hike may take (round trip). All and any replies welcome. Thanks in advance..
