I'm new to geocaching. But I will say that I've found that the Quest works quite well. My only problem is that Quest isn't supported by any of the 3rd party software. Plus the fact that I prefer using a Mac doesn't help. I'll have to work around those problems.

I have the Quest, which seems to put me in the minority. I've found it very accurate finding caches and also great on the road.
