  1. http://www.geocaching.com/subscribe/ If you use the Groundspeak Store for renewing, note that it is a separate account from your geocaching.com account and you will have to sign in the first time as a new user. It does ask what geocaching username you want your payment applied to so it doesn't matter if you use the email address on your geocaching.com account.
  2. If you order through the Groundspeak Store, those payments are applied within two business days. Ordering through Paypal, you should get the code right away and as soon as your payment has cleared with Paypal, the code should work to activate your account.
  3. I lived in New Zealand for six months for school and loved it there! I lived on the North Island, but spent three weeks traveling around the South Island with some friends. We actually had the Lord of the Rings location guidebook to help us on our journey (since we were all fans). Even if you're not a fan of the movies, it's a great way to get off the beaten track and see some neat places. The guidebook does include GPS coordinates (I wish I had my GPS while I was there). A couple tracks I can highly recommend on the south island: Lake Marian Rob Roy Glacier If you need a tour guide for the trip, let me know.
  4. I adjusted the date to reflect those three days for you.
  5. Ooh, I like seeing cool stuff coming out of my hometown. I was going to say, if you ever head over to North Idaho, you'll have plenty of places to find huckleberries. I used to serve huckleberry margaritas at the mexican restaurant I worked at and those were fabulous! My family always freezes huckleberries and then my dad makes huckleberry muffins or pancakes on Christmas morning. Yum!
  6. I located your ticket and have resolved the issue with Paypal so you should have your Premium Membership again.
  7. I enjoyed some great views and was pleasantly surprised at having the chance to enjoy some huckleberries this last weekend heading up to Rachel Lake. I would recommend heading up there soon since the berries seemed to be in their prime.
  8. I'm from north Idaho originally and often cache there on my visits home. I'd definitely recommend staying a night or two in the Sandpoint/Priest River/Coeur d'alene area. I know my dad has several caches placed in pretty areas over there. If you head through Southern Idaho, by way of Boise, I'd recommend checking out the Bruneau Sand Dunes southeast of Mountain Home. It's a great park, the dunes are a lot of fun and there are some good caches in the area! Let me know if you need any travel advice for either area.
  9. My Face is sunburnt so bad that it's starting to blister, but I don't care! I had a blast on the hike. What a perfect day to be at Mt. Rainier! I had a lot of fun hanging out with the 7am group and it was nice seeing the others along the way. See my pictures from the day here!
  10. Does anyone have coordinates for the trailhead by chance? Or just an explanation of where the trailhead is at Paradise? When it's that early in the morning, I want to make sure I head to the right place from the start.
  11. Since I'm driving from Seattle that morning, I'll be in the 7am group! And yeah, that leaves me getting up at 4am (only special occasions warrant this).
  12. I'm in for sure. I got some hiking poles yesterday (not sure why I haven't had them already). I may be bringing a friend along. I'm excited for the adventure!
  13. Actually, the Jeep travel bugs are already activated! You'll just need to "grab" it into your inventory before sending it out in the world. Here are the steps to add the Travel Bug to your inventory: 1. Log into travelbugs.com 2. In the top right corner, enter the Tracking Number into the box and click the SEARCH button. 3. You will now be taken to the Travel Bug's page. In the top right corner, click the link in the Trackable Item Options box called Add a log entry. 4. From the Type of log drop-down select ‘Grab it from somewhere else’. 5. Where the form asks for Travel Bug Tracking #, enter in the number on the tag once more. 6. Enter any comments you wish (usually "Grabbed") and click the Submit log entry button.
  14. I'm definitely considering coming along. I will wake up insanely early and drive down if I do come. Does anyone know the quickest way to get to Paradise from Seattle? I usually mix it up each time I go, but I've never paid attention to which way is faster. Plus I'm not sure how much damage there was to the roads over winter, knowing the status would be good.
  15. You may want to send an email to contact@geocaching.com to check your status on the website.
  16. You may want to ask in the regional section of the forums if there are any people in the area who would be willing to help out. As for good parks in Seattle to do something like this, I'd recommend Carkeek Park or Discovery Park. Both have several caches and are good parks for events with kids.
  17. If your team wants to log Premium Member only cache finds, then yes, the team account will need to have a Premium Membership.
