  1. Thanks for the responses. I would up downloading C:Geo. It seems to have all the features I need. I especially like the step-by-step driving directions option I can choose when driving my car to the cache location. I also downloaded Neongeo. It also has some good features.
  2. Specifically, I'm soliciting the GC community for the best Geocaching app for the Android Operating System. I currently own a Garmin Dakota Handheld GPS that I've been using for two years. However, not that I have a smart phone, I want an app for it as well, mainly as a stand by and so that I can cache on the fly. I read that the Androzic app was good for Geocaching. I'm not partial to it. It's one that I read about. I'm open to suggestions. If you have used this or another app that has served you well, I'd like to hear about your specific experiences. Thank you.
  3. I recently purchases a Verizon CASIO C771 Android Smartphone. I'm happy with the phone. After some initial frustrations with learing how to use the OS, I'm enjoying the device. I downloaded the GC.com geocaching app mainly because I had it on my iPod Touch and I'm familiar with it's operation. I tested it out last night one one of my caches and it worked pretty well. I've been reading a lot of the reviews for various geocaching apps and the Androzic app gets a lot of postive reviews. Has anyone had any experience with this app? If so, please give me your honest opinion on how well the app performs. Have you had better experience with another app? If so, I would appreciate your feedback. D&JCC Beavercreek, OH
  4. Loading Cache Logs... Still waiting here in Ohio. Hopefully they get this fixed soon. I checked the link for viewing the logbook and here's what I got:
  5. According to the Challenges FAQ, Challenges are published to the website immediately. I submitted one and although it shows up on my profile, it has not appeared on the Website for all to see. I also did a search using various search strings, but there wrere no returns. What gives?
  6. Posted by mistake. Saw the existing threat after creating this thread. Please delete. Thanks
  7. Either no one has been caching within 50 miles of my home coordinates for the paft several hours, or I have not been getting any of my notifications. I checked my status and everything appears to be normal. I was wondering if anyone else had been experiening any difficulties.

  9. We recently placed a new cache in Beavercreek, OH (GC27BXB), that consists of a hardside briefcase containing an assortment of containers, and props (just for effect). The theme of the cache is spy movies. In addition to the normal contents, e.g., log, tradables, etc, the container also contains a pair of binnoculars, a military-style flashight, 35mm film pulled out of the canister, and fake secret documents.
