I also recommend considering a BlackBerry. I get all my email on the road, can phone or email friends for hints, and can log caches from the cache site.
Certainly not! Pick out an old soda can from the trash, or any other item. Add a label with something like this:
"Move this item to another cache and email me at XXXX@hotmail.com with the new cache location."
There you are, a free trackable.
The Tom Tom really isn't suited for use outside the car. It will weant to lock onto roads rather than leading you to a cache. Also, battery life is short for caching. I highly recomment the eTrex for caching. I found hundreds with one of those.
It has a new battery, USB cable, stylus, extra stylus, software, leather case. I'd like to get $85 if possible. It has the WOndows Mobile stuff on it so you have Word, etc.

Both units have charging cable and worked fine when last used.
WOW, what a non technical forum. I see them now. The solution is that you need to zoom in to 3 miles or less. If you zoom out too far you can't see any caches. Problem solved.
Now, can someone tell me how you see a hint? What do you click??
