  1. Have you tried replacing the batteries?
  2. I also recommend considering a BlackBerry. I get all my email on the road, can phone or email friends for hints, and can log caches from the cache site.
  3. I disagree with you. Dropping a trackable is helping it on its journey. The trackable has an owner just like the cache does.
  4. Yep, you have a problem, all right.
  5. Which explains why I left another forum and came here. It's not bad here at all compared to some other areas....
  6. Certainly not! Pick out an old soda can from the trash, or any other item. Add a label with something like this: "Move this item to another cache and email me at XXXX@hotmail.com with the new cache location." There you are, a free trackable.
  7. The Tom Tom really isn't suited for use outside the car. It will weant to lock onto roads rather than leading you to a cache. Also, battery life is short for caching. I highly recomment the eTrex for caching. I found hundreds with one of those.
  8. I don't think that is your only issue. Nuff said....
  9. Are you from Ohio? You voted for yourself 14,000 times and 900 dead people voted for you?!

  12. Having now read your entire post, you should be fine with that. To be 100% sure, contact your local cache reviewer.
  13. I have logged a few where the stages were thousands of miles apart. Were you wanting to place the stages really close or really far apart?
  14. The Yinnie's - You have email on the Zire. Everyone else - Make an offer on the Axim!
  15. I know a guy who claims to have been "US Geocacher of the Year" Does such an award really exist?
  16. There is the "options" menu you use to "view the cache description" Once you are there, hit "options" again to view past logs or hints.
  17. For sale - Dell Axim X30 with WiFi - color screen - good battery - make offer For sale - Palm Zire - Go Paperless on a budget! - make offer Both units have charging cable and worked fine when last used.

  19. Cha-Ching! Success!! Thanks so much!! THIS ISSUE SOLVED!!!
  20. WOW, what a non technical forum. I see them now. The solution is that you need to zoom in to 3 miles or less. If you zoom out too far you can't see any caches. Problem solved. Now, can someone tell me how you see a hint? What do you click??
