  1. Same as me dude! Am currently surfing the net because i'm really tempted by the SE Elm and know it has GPS can't seem to find anything solid that suggests it can be used for geocaching! I am also looking at the Elm phone Want to know more about battery life when GPS is on, and how it works with Geocaching Live ( http://live.geocaching.com/ ) Also, the 5mp camera with geotagging feature is pretty tempting I have to say. And I have read that the phone has Google Maps preinstalled! Battery life isn't that great when the GPS is on BUT I am not one to spend more than half a day caching. Yes google maps is installed, is this an advantage? Its currently £100 on )2 website, bargin?

  3. Heres the story; Me and my brother have been doing casual geocahces in and around our nearby area for the last few months and have been using his iPhone. We aren't treking up the side of mountains just simple country parks and urban caches and it's perfect for the job (most of the time!). It's perfect in the sense that if we are driving along we can whip out the app and see if there are any around. I have headed back to university and am struggling to withold the addiction and am looking to invest in a GPS unit as an iPhone is merely an expenseive privilage. My questions are as follows; Does the GPS unit work in the same fashion as the iPhone in that I can switch it on and they all pop up OR do I have to program them all in? Would it work if your in a different neck of the woods one weekend and think that you can switch on the GPS and locate a few caches whilst the missus is shopping for a hoard of summer clothing? The great thing about the iPhone app is that you can literally switch it on and they are all there with all the info at hand, but clearly an expensive hand if buying purely for caching. Your thoughts are much appreciated.
