I had one or these cute little coins for about 2 weeks... it raised $100 towards the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal and has now winged it's way to a new home with the auction winner. I miss you Mickey - but you did me proud. Thanks so much!!!! As you can see, it worked!

Hi there, LE is Limited Edition (meaning there are a lot less of them made than any Regular Edition/s) XLE is Extra Limited Edition and usually there is only a few of these. There are some very good threads in this forum that describe and suggest numbers or formulas for how the editions might/should work. Mystery Coins are coins minted and distributed by someone who is a Mystery. They often turn up anonymously in peoples mailboxes. Again, some good threads on this in the forums. Use the search box in the top right corner of the forums window - it is a very, very useful feature/function. Thank you for the responses. I did try the search engine first and got "One or all of your search keywords were below 3 characters or you searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords." when I put in LE. So I decided to post and ask. Again, I am a newbie to this. Didn't mean to bother anyone. TY for answering.

I keep seeing the letters LE and XLE after the names of coins. Does that mean Luxury Edition and if so what makes the coin a luxury coin. Also, I keep seeing Mystery coins listed on Ebay and the prices usually go quite high. Just what is a Mystery coin? TY!

1) You sign up with the required information (see post # 1) and follow the directions in post #1 2) You will be given the name and address of another person who signed up and you send them the minimum of the required items for the mission. In this mission it is 2 unactivated full size geocoins and a pet treat or toy specific to the type of pet who's name you received. You may add more toys or treats, sig items or even coins if you would like but all coins must be unactivated. 3) Someone else will receive yours and your pets name and type and will do the same for you. You just make sure that you post in the forum the date you sent your package off and when you received your package as soon as possible after both. So do the coins themselves have to be related to the pet, or just the treat? Sue

I would like to adopt a travelling coin. Not sure if I just post here, or send a PM. New to geocaching boards, I have a very small coin collection, but nothing that is travelling yet. Would like to have that experience.
