While surfing around I happened upon this document: www.cnr.vt.edu/gep/pdffiles/ EtrexLegendManual-ExtensionVersion.pdf It covers some basic functions of the Etrex Legend when being used for mapping and estimated distances etc. Pretty basic stuff but it's written differently than the actual manuals included with the unit and sometimes easier to understand! Check it out- it just might be of some use to someone. The question I originally had in mind while surfing around was this- Does anyone know of a site where one can get plans to make an antenna for an Etrex? Several months ago I happened upon quite a few since then it appears they have been removed. I can only find one now. I know you can purchase them quite cheaply but I like to goof around with that type of thing and figured it'd be fun. Any help would be great! Thanks guys!
