  1. Are you just trying to complete the list? or are you trying to qualify for a challenge cache? My way of completing a challenge of this type is to look at the qualifying caches of other finders and go for some of the same caches they used.
  2. Interesting. That is the first time I have seen the counter used on a cache page vs a profile page. The cache page that I put the counter in is an old cache; I just put the counter in yesterday (just to see if it would work) and it now shows 7 visits. I have had this counter on my profile page for years. If you don't like it, I don't care. If it doesn't work "right", I don't care.
  3. The link I gave wasn't intended to just be entered in the cache page. It is a site to use to set up the counter. I tried it and put it on the cache page just to see if it would work, and it does.
  4. Go to: https://s11.flagcounter.com/index.html and you can get a counter that shows how many people visit the web page and where they are from. See my cache: https://coord.info/GC1GHHG
  5. I don't know, but there have been a lot of new cachers around in recent months, more than in the past few years.
  6. If I ever see another log stating that the cache was in plane site, I want it to be at an airport.
  7. btw, just to clarify--the "date placed" is actually the date the cache page was started, unless the CO changed that date to some other date, date actually placed or whatever.
  8. Well, there's an easy solution for that.
  9. Nope, that didn't work. Still have not received a newsletter.
  10. I have a lot of puzzle caches. When someone asks me for help with them I first ask them what they have tried already, and as long as they have tried something, I help them as much as they need.
  11. I specifically don't like light pole skirt hides when they are at ground level, especially in a park--many people walk their dogs in parks. And you know what the dogs do at every pole, tree, fire hydrant, etc.
  12. It gives the option to report a violation on the basis of Location, Content, Fee, Law enforcement/Land Manager or Other. States"Reported Adventures are reviewed by our staff to determine whether they violate our Terms of use or the Adventure Lab Guidelines".
  13. How do you get an AL notification? It's not one of the options (that I can see) in the regular (website) notifications section; I can't find notifications in the AL app or the Geocaching app at all. Edit to add--well I found notification setup in the Geocaching app, by going through the Help, but still nothing on AL.
  14. A PQ will not give you archived caches. This is a job for Project GC Stupid Autocorrect wants it to be "achieved."
  15. Maybe this: Found on the Rim Trail along the Oregon Trail in Boise, Idaho.
  16. I finally tried that also, will find out next week if it worked. Obviously I don't really care a whole lot.
  17. I've not received a weekly newsletter since January. I checked out the settings and they are all correct. I do get all the other emails that I would expect, but the newsletters just abruptly stopped.
  18. Looks like it should have a higher D rating. (It's probably easy when you know where to look.)
  19. My husband has gotten interested in visiting state corners. We've done some quite adventurous ones. Many of them have had geocaches at or near the corner marker.
  20. Yeah, probably, just struck me that way. btw, a locomotive is not a train; a caboose is not a train. A locomotive plus a caboose can be a train.
  21. Don't "Stop Watching" them.
  22. I don't have an Etrex 20 but every Garmin I have used has had a compass to tell which direction to start walking. Doesn't the Etrex 20 have a compass?
