  1. Wooohoo! Received my ufo's in British Columbia today! They look great! Spinning so smoothly with a simple design top and bottom it's a thing of beauty! Thanks for the great design. B.
  2. We have listed a BCGA 2010 Artist Edition (only 15 made!)at the following link for bid. Check it out! BCGA 2010 ARTIST EDITION Good Luck to all who bid!
  3. Oops!....I am behind a bit on this one! I would like to thanks the entrants of the cointest as I really enjoyed them and believe that we all have our heroes. Gatoulis....your story really hit the theme on the head and it was great to hear about your family of cachers, Due to there only being 3 entrants in this contest....I have changed the outcome a bit....I would like to send all 3 entrants 2 tags each for a total of 6 prizes instead of only 5! Gatoulis, catsnfish and SgtMikal could you please send me your mailing info joecacher@hotmail.com and I will ship out the tags ASAP! Thanks again,
  4. My partner HighMaintenance thought of a suitable cointest...for some tags! Simple though....all you have to do is tell us who your geocaching hero is and a short story why! A good example provided by HM: She was out caching with her hubby Puddleduck_21 near a bog in the Lower Mainland of BC, Canada when he slipped in the bog and was drenched! Usually this type of thing kinda puts a damp-er (pun intended!) on the caching and it's time to go home. In this case he got up...shook it off and continued caching and had a productive caching day! We will choose 5 winners at random for a name tag version of the GEOJOE dogtag! Cointest ends Dec 13th (cause I like the number 13!) at say....3:13pm my time! ready...set..go!
  5. Do you have an estimated date which these will be in your hands and ready to ship?
  6. OUCH...just got back from the post office to mail a package of these to the US....shipping for two coins was over $5 bucks due to the weight of the coin going over the first price barrier! Gotta make smaller coins i guess!
  7. Only 20 Antique Copper and 30 Antique Silver left!
  8. I took my shipping charges from my last coin (spirit:2010) and made it for all of our coins but I should have thought about the weight. Our spirit coins were 2 inch round and the combined weight of the coins jumped it into the next bracket here in Canada (dadgum shipping is more then sending stuff south of the border!) but the Joe coins even being 2 1/4 inch are lighter due to them being narrow. I think I had the charges for an extra coin for that one at only $1 per extra coin. I will tweak the site for different coins. The shipping for 2 of these coins should be 3 for the first 1 for additional. Sorry about that!
  9. Quick add on that I forgot.....all orders this week of 4 or more tags get a free joeFTFpin!
  10. Freshly minted our joecacher and his many moods coin have been stripped naked! Giving them a simple and classic feel, the lack of colour focuses on the moods themselves. Check out the details here $12.00 for the coin in either antique copper or antique silver with a bonus zip pull! To order, email your info to joecacher@hotmail.com with "naked joes" in the subject!

  13. Post the news here. PERFECT! I will be able to start a new thread shortly!
  14. Just checking because my poor searching skills haven't found the answer to this yet! Where are we aloud to announce new travel tags (trackable at geocaching.com of course)? Are these forums only or geocoins themselves or all things trackable at gc.com? Yes I am aware of the travel bug forum but there are no new tag posts/threads there as it seems geared to GC TB's only.
  15. hmmm....I don't know the name of it but one of those little contraptions from men in black where you get zapped and then it erases your memory! That way you'd be left with the coin and have no idea were it came from!
  16. Though all the icons have given a bit different in comparison with the next, I have to agree that this is my favorite too!
  17. I'm kinda thinking that they are two separate coins....maybe the golden one is the artist edition and the silver one is the regular edition or vice versa?
  18. WOW!!!! Good job on the photo edit WB! That's what I was talking about but you explained it so much simpler!!! Haha!
  19. Most definitely. Some people have speculated that the object in the center is the coin (Mr. Gray indicates that it might not be) and that the coin is made of more than one piece. I don't know what the objects are to the top and bottom left, but they are most definitely differently shaped, but with similar colors. They both seem to be made with the same metal (antique brass?) and both have the same white enamel as on the central object. The bottom left object has red coloring on it. Thus, all three items could be parts of a multi-part coin. I'm goin to go out on a limb here but I wanna say that the coin is not shaped as shown! If you look at the two white enamel lines on the edge of the "petal", in between them and toward the black part the brushing on the antique finish meets up in he middle...I want to say waaaay to perfectly...and they are the same on every "petal" too! My guess is that Mr G has manipulated the image of the coin like some kind of kalidescope image and that's why the brush marks are so uniform and meeting together too perfectly! The other chunks of images on the side might reflect the actual coin more then the middle image does. Would it be out of the ordinary for one Mr G to manipulate us like that....I think not! Careful.....he's setting the trap and you are all jumping in! Mwhahahaha!
  20. Did anyone notice that on the flickr page the bottom left and top let corners of the picture as a whole has another similar colored object (looks like the coin) but is not quite the same shape as the middle image?
  21. A bit out of the way for a lot of you but in British Columbia, Canada there is an area of the province called Gold Country. The Gold Country area is about a 2 hour drive from end to end. There are 72 Gold Country specific caches hidden in Gold Country and if you find 24 of their caches (by collecting stickers in each cache) you redeem them for your Gold Country 24 Caches Found Gold Bar! (trackable on geocaching.com of course) If you get all 72 caches then you get a special 3" trackable coin! I don't know if this is the type of thing you were talking about but it sounded close!
  22. Although I see that the BCGA (British Columbia Geocaching Association) hasn't posted it here yet I found this coin available for order to be shipped by the end of October! I thought I would post the info so that everyone could enjoy it! See the link for pictures! Also...stay tuned as I have some inside info that some artist editions will be available!
