I have had several friends ask me about Geocaching and all of them would like for me to take them on a hunt. I have a couple of questions: #1. Should I introduce them to the site first and have them create a username? Or would it be best if they went on their first search and then decide if that liked it? #2. Should I give them coordinates to caches I've already visited in case they need hints? Or should I go for a completely new cache that none of us have found? Bonus Question: What would make a good first time hunt? A Micro, or Container type cache? Thanks for the advice!

I'm a noob, and this may have been answered before but I wonder if it would make for some good stories. Have you bumped into another Geocacher while searching for a cache? If you notice that someone is looking, what do you do? Do you walk up and join them or do you hang back and let them finish? It hasn't happened to me yet, but I look forward to it.
