I just got a new phone (Motorola Maxx) and downloaded c:geo on it. The problem I'm having is that it shows my starting coordinates as being in the middle of the Atlantic. I cant find a way to calibrate it to my current location. Anyone else have this issue? Suggestions are welcome.

Recently my car was in an accident and totaled. It had a reflective TB on it that had logged several thousand miles and a couple dozen 'discoveries' over several states. The window that it was affixed to was shattered and the TB unsalvageable. I would like to replace the TB with one of the same number so I can continue its journey with another car. Does anyone know if you can get a replacement TB with the same number? Thanks...

I sense a great disturbance in the geocaching force. As if millions of cachers suddenly cried out with a collective "Oooohhhh, nice coin" and then waited in anticipation to see if it will be for sale...

A while back I found a tree-shaped air freshener tied to a tree that you were supposed to sign and then move on. I'm not going to complain about it, but I suppose it didn't meet guidelines.

I might have to come out to see this happen... -

I've now logged close to 10000 miles on my personal DJL coin. It never leaves my pocket when I travel...

This is STILL one of the coolest coins I have ever seen. I'm attending a Geocoinfest 2011 planning event tomorrow (coming to Rock Hill SC next year) and it would sure be nice to have this one representing...

A little caching jaunt...

Now I want to go do a road trip. Great pics... -
I have a personal geocoin that I take with me nearly everywhere. Since May I've logged nearly 10,000 miles on it by "visiting" cetain caches that I think are interesting or out of the way. More often then not, I find my coin 'visiting' virtuals and earthcaches and try to log it every time I go through a new state...

Is it possible to enter coordinates into a Garmin Colorado 300? I have not been able to find a way to do it and have had to rely on the compass feature if I find a set of coords in a multi or mystery cache...

I made sure to find enough to log number 1010 that day...

I would definitely like to see virtuals come back as it seems that everywhere I travel these days, I look at a site and think "That would make a good VC"...

This. I went looking for one a few weeks ago and I knew it was going to be a pile of rocks, I just did know how many. After 30 minutes in a ditch filled with rip-rap, probably moving 300 stones with no results, I wandered across the road hoping the co-ords were off and found it it in 30 seconds soaked though and impossible to write on. The next morning I could hardly get out of bed due to my aching back...

I refuse to believe that they will return anything until they actually do so. I certainly hope I'm proven wrong and everything goes back to their rightful cache...

Weirdest thing you've seen a muggle do while 'caching.

I guess the question I have is, why were you caching with a vuvuzela...? -
Never mind, I finally found it...

I recently turned a friend on to geocaching. As of last weekend they emailed me to tell me they went on their first caching run. I would like to send them a friend request but I can't seem to find the spot on the site to do so. Is there a way to search cachers by their name?

I've had to unscrew a bolt form the bottom of a stop sign to free a cache, but there was already a bolt above it. I'm sure the CO simply added another bolt to hold it in place. However it is nearly impossible to remove the cache without using a ratchet or wrench to loosen the nut. Not so inconspicuous at a 4-way intersection and I'm sure someone would report it as suspicious...

All my road trips that I've taken this year have involved at least a little caching. That's part of the fun of traveling...

I see a lot of 5-star caches near my home but they're all on islands in a couple of nearby rivers that can only be access via kayak or canoe. If they were on the mainland, I'm sure they would be a lot less difficult...

I think you understand this sport more than most cachers I know. Congrats on what sounds like a delightful series of hunts. I know that sometimes if I get frustrated when I got 0-2 or 0-3 during a run I question why I do this. Then I read a post like yours and I'm reminded as to why... But you are missing out on the numbers groupies.

Would this be a violation of the rules?

I have found several disguised as sprinkler heads and most of them have little to no impact on their surroundings. I've accidently pulled up a 'real' sprinkler head before finding the fake one. As least that's my observation... -
Can you send me a link to it? I would prefer not to drop a coin in it either...

How about "Blow your mind, Man"? or "Trippy"
