What is the best method for finding caches during a road trip and at various destinations? My Oregon only holds 2000 caches, but I have GSAK and will have my laptop with.
I just would like to hear what methods veteran cachers use on long road trips and once they get to a destination to load caches.
I've come up with:
1. Cache along a route? (this one is good, would need a different method once I've arrived at my destinations).
2. Run PQs at each nightly stop/ (server could go down, leaving no caches on my GPSr).
3. Load caches before I leave (chance of having archived, many DNF's loaded).
4. Scope out which caches I'd like to get before leaving (limited to which ones I choose; may miss some cool ones).
5. ???
TIA
