  1. Sad to see this cache go, I myself had great fun in finding it way back in 2005, Thanks for keeping it going so long nz_etrex
  2. Is there a way to see what Lab caches another cachers have found? If you click on their profile and then the Geocaches tab you can click Trads and Multies etc and you'll get a list, but when you click Lab Cache you are just taken to the Lab caches site? I've searched the forums and cant find any posts that answer this question. Thanks in advance
  3. Add me to the list of iPhone users that have to spend more time online fixing the date issue. Would be nice to see GC.com make a fix for this sometime soon.
  4. Put the GC code in at the top and then click 'LOG' instead of 'Go To' and pressto you can log your find. Works with all PMO caches.
  5. Nice idea, I hadn't even thought of that
  6. Learn to use corrected coordinates in GSAK. Like many of the features on the website, the corrected coordinates that GS has implemented is not well thought out and the implementation is broken. You didn't read my OP properly, but thanks for your input
  7. Surely someone out there has at least some input about this ??
  8. Not sure if this has been talked about before (and yes I have search the forums for the last 30min trying to find anything) but would it be possible to have a ability to change the icons for the cache type just as you can now change the listed co-ords? Reason being when you have done the puzzle or qualified for a challenge cache then it is essentially just a traditional cache thereafter. And you could then run a PQ for just trad caches and your solved puzzles would show. I know this can be done in GSAK but you have to lock the field and then the cache isn't updated when a new PQ is loaded into GSAK so you don't know if the cache has been disabled or archived since you locked the cache details. I also think it would be easier to just keep the whole process under one site instead of having to run multiple programs to do the same job. Is anyone else on the same wave length here? Please if I have posted in the wrong forum or there is already talk about this please point me in the wrong direction. Keep up the good work Groundspeak.

  10. Go to the NZ open GPS project and they have full NZ auto routeing maps. The direct page for the maps is Here Hope this is what you are looking for.
  11. The PQ's don't seem to be working after the update today?
  12. After the GC.com update i can't get any PQ's to run?? Have logged out and logged back in.
  13. From the geocaching site guidelines Here What should not be placed in a cache? People of all ages hide and seek geocaches, so think carefully before placing an item into a cache. Explosives, ammunition, knives, drugs and alcohol should not be placed in a cache. Respect local laws at all times. Please do not put food or heavily scented items in a cache. Animals have better noses than humans, and in some cases caches have been chewed through and destroyed because of food items in a cache. Generally you can leave anything as long as it isn't going to harm anyone.
  14. That all depends how the cache owner has added them in the additional WP (AWP) feature on GC.com If they have called them 'Stages of a multi' then the 161m rule applies even if there is nothing physical there. In that case if you can get the cache owner to change the AWP type to 'Question to answer' then the reviewers will let it pass.
  15. Try a search around this cache. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...83-c6e7137edeeb It's right in the middle of Napier if thats where your headed?
  16. I with Scrabble Dogs on this update. NOT one of the better updates of the site.
  17. You missed this one. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...15-9409beb67ddd
  18. i think i will do the same. i have no problem with downloading the PQ results from the web when the email comes in, but i need at least a direct download link (preferably in the email, but doesn't need to be), one that doesn't require me to be logged in. I'd just like them to fix the "saved GPX files" part of the site. It has never worked as it is meant to. !!!
  19. Is there nobody on this site that can say if it's working or not
  20. Is this service working, I have read in some other forums that there were a few bugs? I have uploaded a couple of files, but can find no way to download them again? Am i ding something wrong? I cant use the search function for "Saved GPX Files" as one of the words is below 5 letters and the site wont let me. Otherwise I would search the forums myself and see if i can find the answer to the above. GGrrrrr
  21. I just saved a GPX file onto geocaching, com. You know the new feature for premium members! if you have used gc.com to store your gpx file, can you tell me how you got it into Iplunder.. I tried the URL that shows at the top of the page and IPlunder would not accept it Same result here? Does anyone know how to get the download link for the saved GPX files that you upload to GC.com?
  22. Hi If it's set on WGS84 then you will be fine in the UK. The settings are all the same. Cheers BTW there are other forums that most of the NZ cachers hang out in. http://forums.gps.org.nz/index.php http://www.kiwicaching.org/
  23. Most of the NZ reviewers hang out here. Here Or even better post your question in this thread and you will get an answer.
  24. Most of the Kiwi cachers hang out in Gps.org.nz or Kiwicaching if you post your request there you will get a better response than in this forum. Cheers
