I grabbed a stack of the small priority mail envelopes from the post offcie (shhh) and tear them in half, insert coin, fold in half over the coin and then fold again the opening and tape shut and insert into bubble envelope. Works so far. And please, no taping the coin slip to anything, it never comes off and it's ruined. A shame when it has the tracking info lable attached to it.

Yikes! A pre-warning (and smaller image) would have helped! I gotta go watch some Disney to get that image out of my brain!

Ohhh, now this sounds cool. I'll take 1-2 of each! Except I am the wife and collecter so you have to make both options! Hubby is already trying to steer me clear of this new obsession. I tell him it's something new for me, it's fun and I can quit anytime. And a personal coin is in the works too, my how far I've come in such a short time! (just over 1 month)

I tried the Buy It Now as you said to on the auction page and then got another Buy It Now page, clicked the submit button & got to this page that says this:"Thank you for submitting an item to Yahoo! Auctions. Before we list your item we ask that you provide a valid credit card to verify your account. We require this information from all sellers and from new bidders who participate in multiple auctions simultaneously." It then wants credit card info blah blah so I backed out, tried again, same thing.

Not really sure I understand the question. All I know is I don't cache in the entire state at once so I only do queries for one area, for instance from my zipcode outward 20-25 miles, starting from 2000 to present and limiting to Traditionals usually and selecting Active, I do Not Own, Not On My Ignore List. That gives me 500 in a 15 miles radius because I live in the cache saturated SF Bay Area of well over 7000 caches.

I feel the same as Mauison in that I feel the need to be more selective and not have to buy into all the coins coming out. I do go more for the ones that really appeal to me and especially if it's a personal coin that still ties into what brought us here to begin with, caching. This one just doesn't seem to be either.

Wow, maybe 2 Dolphins shoould remove their eBay bookmark if going there causes such angst and rash & extreme decisions with other peoples purchased and paid for coins. Think I'll go caching, this coin whining is sad, unless it's done in good fun which isn't in this case.

Even if they didn't see this thread, I think many are not reading the last paragraph in italics and actually taking it seriously by making "no you can't do this according to the guidelines" comments! Kinda like posting at the end of a pre-sales coin thread on page 5 " I'll take 2 LE please" when the sales ended on page 3.

For the 1.5", 1.5/8" coins, do you use the 2" Vinyl flips and cardboard holders? And for a 2" coin, use the 2 1/2" flips and cardboards? Just trying to get the sizes right before ordering. TIA
