I wanted to buy a nice vent clip for my ique 3600 but i also wanted to see if i could get a bundle with the vent clip, charger and antenna all in one. Is there such a thing. Ive been searching but havent found much.

I've been a geocachier for about a year or so, but ive been coming and going because it is so hard to find pepole to go with, and i hate going alone. I was wondering if there are any events coming up near the easy bay of San Francisco? I'm not very good at geocaching yet but i hope to get better.

Nevermind, i was able to get the v7 DVD for free since i just got the unit last week, it sohuld be here within the next week.

I have a garmin iQue 3600 and it came with Garmin City Select North America v6 Map Source. I was wondering what the top 5 mapping programs right now that would work with my unit? or if there is a site with info on this please foward it along to me.

I found the iQue 3600 for $430 after shipping and taxes from amazon.com, it includes all the stuff to use it in the car. I think ill get that.

I was reading oon the Garmin Nuvi 350 and it says this: # of Routes / # of waypoints per route ----- 1 stored (Automatically calculated with turn-by-turn instructions) What does this mean, does it mean that i cant store mutiple destinations like my home address, work and cabin for later use?

Nice, the mapopolis ones looks great, are there any real nice SD GPS adapters for the Dell Axim or should i just go with a wired antenna and mount that on my dash? im not sure about going BT because i dunno how long the BT adapter lats and if im going to conect a wire to it then its not worth that. Also i want to see if the software i get will say "In 200 feet, turn right onto main street" instead of "In 200 feet turn right".

Is is better to go with a Palm OS PDA or a Windows based PDA? or does it matter?

Sorry about that, it looks like ill have time to get one now and look online and take my time. I was looking at some of the GPS / PDA units just because it would be nice to have a unit to use in the car mostly but also have a unit to do paperless caching, the price im looking at is around $600. So far im not sure if the PDA GPS devices are as good as most of the car only units. I noticed the Dell Axim X51v with a gps unit is on sale for $582, would that be a good idea? or just stick with a seperate GPS unit and a PDA unit.

I was looking at different GPS units and noticed that a few come with a built in hard drive, i was wondering how durable these hard drives are since they get shaken around quite a bit when running in a car? i wanted to get a GPS device with flash memory from my local store because i need it by Thursday for a big trip im taking, i have a Circuit City, best buy, Fry's, CompUSA and Staples.

nned more input, what does it mean when it can only do one route, does that matter for me, all i will be using it for is my car to get the turn by turn directions to different places and the ability to save them. and are the hard drives good, im afraid to do that, should i just stick with flash memory?

Thanks for the info, I tried buying the 2610 over the weekend and they stopped selling them today so now i am still looking for a unit, ill read your posts and come up with another choice, most sites are now not carrying that. What i need is a GPS for my car, something that is accurate, turn by turn voice prompting, i dont know if i want to use a hard drive since that may go bad, i think i would rather have a Compact flash or SD port. But im still looking so please keep sending me info.

Is it good to get a GPS / PDA combo or would it be better to get 2 seperate devices? i need something that works real well when im travelingh in my car that is under $400.

Im looking to buy a cheap PDA, maybe under $100 and maybe with a color screen so that i can start doing paperless caching, ive heard a little about and im still kinda new at geocaching, also would i have to be a premium member to do paperless caching?

ill check them out, now that i think about it, it would be nice to have a unit that can do paperless caching. does software for paperless caching come with any of theses, if not, what is a good software to use that uses .loc files.

I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations on what GPS to use for a car. I wanted to keep the price around $500 if possible. I wanted the GPS to be able to have enough space to hold all of California, i think thats like 155MB and have visual and audio detailed street turn by turn directions. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have the Dell GPS software with GPS bluetooth, i was wondering if that program allows me to place cache files so that they display on the dell software?

I have a Dell x51v with GPS already, im looking for some free software that with work with Windows Mobile 5.0 that can ready .LOC files, do all caches have more file types than loc, because ive never seen them. i just got this device so im am new at the whole PDA thing. I have the Dell GPS software in the PDA with my area, but i dunno if if that is compatable with the loc files. also what is the best way to download cache pages with the info so i can take it with me to check.

im looking to get a GPS unit for my car. I was wondering what i should get. I want it to do turn by turn directions with audio. I was looking at the StreetPilot i2 but wasnt sure if that was the right one for me, if possible i wanted to keep it under $300. Please help.
