  1. Hello, I currently own the Garmin 60CSx GPS. It is a great device but hard for geocaching as I currently am downloading, copying/pasting separately all of the relevant information (background/story, hint, etc.) on each cache while I would like to be able to do a multiple download onto one device if possible. While upgrading GPS units seems pretty expensive, I was wondering about getting an used Palm device online (there are some under $15.00 on Amazon) and then downloading clues onto that device. First of all, is there an easier way to view the paragraphs of relevant information to each cache rather than visiting each cache online individually? (I thought that the touch-screen GPS units, Iphones and Palms had potential for applications that could download this information). Secondly, if yes to the first question, is it as easy as I believe to download (with a premium membership) relevant information for multiple geocaches onto a Palm unit? Thanks for your time!
  2. Hi all, I have been using my Garmin 60CSx for just over a year now and it has proved to be a great unit on many occasions. I am however, concerned about what seems to be a recent development of my map pointer (black arrow on map screen) not pointing in the direction I am moving in as it used to but rather pointing in other random directions about 85% of the time. Although I can look at my black track dots to figure out in what direction I am walking, the black arrow is no longer reliable. This makes using it as a navigator for driving and geocaching increasingly difficult. While I did get the unit at REI and I could take it back, the REI lady today told me that my unit was not broken and that she didn't know why the black arrow didn't point in the direction that I was moving. Is there something I am missing here? Would a new unit (I would upgrade if I were to replace my current GPS) likely solve the problem or is there something else that I could be doing wrong? Thanks for your time.
