  1. Mia&Jesper hit me too x 4. I know it's bogus because one of my TB's was never released in the wild and I have it in my hand now. The other three have been MIA for years. Thanks for the report info, I'm going to add my complaint to your list. Interestingly, when I look at one of my TB's directly through the Geocache site, I don't see Mia&Jesper having had logged it. Maybe customer service has already started their work. I did NOT click in the link provided with the original e-mails for fear of a virus.
  2. Ya know, I don't think we even have to sign a log book. I have always felt that if someone wants to "fib" about finding a cache they are only hurting themselves. I miss virtual caches and am highly upset one of my caches (Neahkahnie Mountain) was archved since folks are still visiting it and loving it as a virtual until I can find a safer spot to hide the cache. This used to be a rather simple straightforward sport. I see it getting more rule bound and complicated and less fun for that very reason. Keep the old rules. New is not always improved. (Remember "New" Coke?!)
  3. I just couldn't figure it out. The files were in jpg format, under 100k but yes! you are exactly right. When I saved them I forgot to put the suffix ".jpg" at the end of the photo name. On to more cache page editing!

  5. I hope someone can help me. I haven't had problems uploading photos however; when I go to my cache sight and click on the photo, instead of opening the pic in one click it downloads the photo to my desktop. It is the same story for my little graphic here on the forums. I uploaded it so where is it!? Help!!! If you want to see what I'm talking about, go to Neahkahnie Mountain in zip code 97130. I have only uploaded one photo so far. Click on it and tell me what you get. Thanks in advance.
  6. I save a copy of the photo to my desktop, then highlight it and then under "file" I activate "get info" and it will tell me how big it is. I am using a Mac so I don't know how this method will translate to a PC. Almost all my photos have to be cropped, made smaller then saved at a lower quality to get them down under 100k.

  8. trimmed the photo down, made the file smaller and put it in jpg format so that isn't the answer yet. Any other thoughts?

  10. I just found this fourm because I am having a heckuva time uploading images to Mr. Pinkpants page: http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?id=14245 When I first set him free I was able to upload the single image of him. When you click on the link, the image pops right up. Now when I try and upload images of him at All Ocean's view cache...when I click on the link the photo doesn't pop up it just downloads the photo to my desktop. [] What changed? I want you all to be able to see photos with a minimum of mouse clicks. The first photo came from my digital camera card. The Cache photos are off a Kodak disk I ordered when I had regular photos developed at Costco. Help! & Thanks in advance.
