Is there a set standard for items in a new cache? For instance, I have seen a sheet stating that this is a geocache, and directing people to the website if found inadvertently? Also standard log sheets? Thanks for the assistance.

I am happy to report that I was contacted by someone who read the forum and who sent me the correct information about this coin. It will be placed in a cache very soon now.

Yep, i remember that too... Thanks for the hint, and you are both correct about the font, the background also adds to the confusion. The owner stuck a piece of cardboard around this coin and copied the code onto that so I could confirm what I read on the coin. Will just wait, these things are resolved when least expected.

We have found this coin but the code on it is not listed on the Geocaching database. The owner can contact me to recover the coin.
