I believe he was spotted at a local airport recently.
I also believe that a certain Rat (without wings) in a co-conspirator and is waiting to get his claws on the Giraffe.
-
I firmly believe that there is always 3 sides to the TRUTH. Your story, My Story & the Truth.
I heard a rumour about a Rat (with wings) that made off with a parcel that was addressed to someone else and neglected to inform said party of said parcel (Timeously that is)
Come now Children, let's get out the sandpit, have a chin wag & let's resolve the Hijacking.
As Murray Walker used to say, "Drama, Drama, Drama".
:D

And this is the GPS up for grabs !!!!

Did the phone call (Related thread) prove fruitless?
Unfortunately, Yes.
Phone was not answered & SMS's were not replied to.

Name them & shame them !!!!
Team Fido picked up my TB Castle Draft on the 27th April 2006.
Despite numerous emails, I eventually grabbed the TB & put it in to a TB Graveyard.
I would still love to see that bug travelling again

Yep - we received ours just yesterday. Have yet to ectivate and name it though, but it will be heading for a cache soon enough. B&F
* I am off to drink some bitter black coffee now.
Bear & Fox, please forgive me for possibly pointing out the obvious.
The TB is not yours to name or activate.
It already has a name (It's ultimate destination)
You need to grab it from "Someplace Else"
Good luck with it.

Warthog, many thanks for this forum posting.
I was really chuffed when I checked my postbox today.
In the post was Lota, Chile.
I have no idea how this TB is ever going to there, but I am sure we will show it around South Africa !!!
Anyone else received a TB ? Post here so we can track them.
-
A friend will be returning to Sydney in 10 days.
His wife will follow about 2 weeks after him.
Does anyone need a lift for a TB, coin or cache ?
Let me know.
-
Strandloper will be delivered to Noddy shortly.
-
Filled in the form
Hopefully 1 makes it's way to South Africa

Warthog, many thanks for the Tip Off.
What a great program.
I spent a good hour playing around and reminiscing over the caches we have found.
Now to find 1.7 caches a day before 31/12/06...........
-

I used to be able to find a link to "A Cache Page Editor" from a number of websites.
But it seems to no longer exist.
Can anyone help ?
My knowledge of HTML is non-existant and I found the Editor a really great help.

Once again, I stumbled apon this while surfing.
There was a competition whereby 'cachers were to vote for the Best Reviewer.
Guess who won ?
I wasn't going to do this until ion the morning, but my wife reminded me that I have a doctors appointment in the morning that may take awhile. Also it looks like all the nominees are in.I wish I could give a staff to every Reviewer out there. Everyone of you deserve to win. You have all seen the public posts here, but you haven't seen the emails that I've received trying to sway me into giving the staff to their well deserving Reviewer. Those emails numbered into the dozens. I hope this thread has relayed from all of us our appreciation for what you do, and how well you are all thought of.
I let my wife do the drawing so there would be no bias on my part
The winner is!!!
Congratulations to erik88l-r! He is a Reviewer from GA, and is one of the very first people to take on this responsibility. I've had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of years ago. As you can tell from the posts made here he is very well thought of and covers a lot of territory. When my wife handed me the slip of paper with his name on it I knew the staff went to a very deserving person.
Thanks everyone for making this one of the nicest threads in recent history.

Well done ERIK.
You do a really great job for us here in South Africa.

I was a tad bored at work, so I was surfing the web.
I stumbled on Kimbo's Geocache Page.
It contains some real basic tips. But thing that we all have forgotten from time to time.
How many time have you gone out for a "Short Stroll", with no water ?
Or the slight slope turned out to be a monster hill ?
How many of us carry some form of "Anti Itch" cream ?
Got anymore "Basic Tips" to add ?

Globalrat, seeing as you are such a great Detective.....
how about taking up a new case ?
Can you find / recover Castle Draft last seen in the hands of Team Fido.
I have emailed them numerous times, to no avail.
Could be worth a case of Castle.
-
My TB, Castle Draft, was last seen in the hands of Team Fido.
They picked him up 24th April 2006.
They don't respond to e-mails and haven't logged on the Geocaching since 24th May.
So I to have dropped a TB into one of the Graveyards.
-
I managed to get an Event Cache "Fast tracked"
I published "A few beers after work" 8 days before the event.
Just tell Erik that everyone has already agreed to meet at the appointed time & place.
Point him to the Forum to verify.
Who's holding TB's?
in South Africa

I see that Team Fido have been active this month. They visited the Geocaching website on the 9th March 2007.
They still haven't accounted for the loss of my TB Castle Draft, despite numerous emails.
