  1. There are plenty of Pokemon Go players that have done...less than reasonable...things, but I just want to point out that this (from an early post in this thread): "you can scan the news sites and find plenty of Pokemon examples, like the 15yr old, Arthur Digsby, that was shot and killed in NC yesterday for trespassing while chasing a Pokemon" didn't actually happen: http://www.snopes.com/15-year-old-killed-trespassing-while-playing-pokemon-go/
  2. Thanks, I appreciate your taking the time to reply. There are no versions of Chrome or Firefox for the Windows Phone. I did try two other browsers, which didn't display that error message but didn't actually figure out my location either. "Allow access to my location" is turned on for the stock browser (IE). It's not an option for the other browsers. Please don't spend any time thinking about Windows Phone. I know it's a comparatively rare device and in fact I've only met one other person who has one. I got it under great circumstances (e.g., it didn't cost me anything, I'm not locked into a contract, and my company is paying for the service) but when the time comes to replace it, it won't be with another Windows Phone.
  3. When I go to http://chilehead.us/Waymarking/ on my Windows Phone (7.5; ATT and Samsung have so far failed to distribute the 7.8 update that Microsoft released five months ago :-( ) via its version of Internet Explorer, I get the message "Geolocation is required for this page, but your browser doesn't support it." I know that geolocation is working correctly on that phone - e.g., when I search for "restaurants" via the Google app, it shows the restaurants closest to my location.
  4. Ah, I'm glad you mentioned that. I was going to suggest a new category for "Bosses Who Are Jerks." :-)
  5. There's a phrase you don't hear very often...
  6. I see them in "Texas Historical Markers." Can you try looking at them with another web browser and/or clear the cookies/cache in the browser you used originally?
  7. Nice...I think I'll book a reservation at the Equinox in Manchester, VT which, according to http://www.geocaching.com/reviews/hotel-the_equinox-id-135986 , "has nightly rates from $0.00 to $0.00."
  8. Anyone remember our "Around the World One Waymark at a Time" from a couple of years ago? It was in the predecessor to this forum. The Waldo Canyon trailhead is one of many waymarks that may not survive the Colorado fires. See this fire map. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by this, or any other wildfires.
