  1. Well done Jeff & Pat. 2000 arrived rather quickly, so good going.
  2. Well done on the 900, and good to see you at the cache event regards
  3. Well done Bones1 (Jef, Pat & corgies). It's no surprise that the corgies have short legs with the number of caches you do. Yet again... congratulations.
  4. Well done Bones1, it seems only a couple of weeks ago we were saying well done on 1600, and now your on 1700. It looks like while Pat's away, Jeff does play.
  5. Yet again, Bones1 has hit another milestone, this time 1600. Well done Jeff/Pat. No wonder the corgies have short legs. It must be nearly 3000 gloves now placed in caches.
  6. Well done to Bones1 (aka Jeff, Pat and Corgies), on reaching yet another milestone. Not many of us are getting up early to grab 4 to 8 caches before work. Your doing well. Must be over 1000 pairs of gloves and a 1000 packets of tissues must have been placed now.... you need to buy those in bulk. Congratulations.
  7. Congrats to Jeff and Pat (aka Bones1) for reaching 1300 while still refitting the kitchen.
  8. Well done to Bones1 (Jeff, Pat and Corgies). It doesn't seem that long ago that is was only 1100, but your new bathroom has definitly slowed you down for a while. I calculate that you have now placed 1850 plastic gloves, and almost 875 packs of tissues !
  9. Well done Bones1 ... hitting 1000 last month has not stopped the rapid progress to the next 1000.
  10. The PMR 446 radios are useful when there are several people caching for a number of reasons. 1. You can seperate and search for the cache, and let the others know when it is found. 2. When using multiple cars, it is easier to discuss plans via the radio than with mobile. 3. Sometimes, it is useful for one person to be in the dip while the other looks from the top. It saves a load of hand waving and shouting. 4. When one is dealing with a cache, another can be standing lookout for muggles and announce any warnings. Personally I use Multicom JNR radios which are small, 8 channel with sub channels. The sub channels are definitely worth using as it reduces interferance from other units.
  11. Congrats to Jeff, Pat and Corgies for reaching 1000. You've made amazing progress over the past year and good luck for the next 1000. Keep up the good work. I'm sure most of us are familiar with finding plastic gloves and tissues in the caches.
  12. Congrats to Bones1 for getting to 900. I notice that this milestone took longer than some of Bones1 other milestones, but then I do know that a bathroom was completely rebuilt during this period. Well done !
  13. Well done, and I thought you were going to take it easy once you hit 200 !
  14. Well done, and an excellent way to acheive a milestone. How will you celebrate/do the 1000th ... perhaps Lands End to John O'Groats !!!
  15. Congrats to Bones1 (Jeff, Pat & corgies) on reaching 800. It was not long again that the 700 was posted.
  16. Well done... good to see another local cacher doing well.
  17. Well done Jeff, Pat and Corgies (aka Bones1). 700 caches already and still loads more to log. !!! Watch out for the 800. And it wasnt that long ago I was posting the congrats for the 600 !!!!!
  18. You might find it worth looking on eBay for the software and maps. Some companies sell the whole of the UK for a much cheaper price.
  19. Well done bekandian .... I was going to add that you are just staying ahead of bones1 ... but then I saw that he has made it to 600 as well. Anyway. Congrats for beating your targets for the year, I assume the 1,000 for next year is now on the cards !
  20. Well done to Jeff (aka bones1) for hitting yet another milestone !
  21. Well done ... you've made it to 3 figures now .... the next jump at 4 figures is a real doozy. Have fun on the next 100.
  22. Well done Alibags and keep going ... Bekandian are still trying to close the gap ... and bones1 will be on your tail soon Regards Julian
  23. Well done Jeff, your speed is amazing, it was only last month that we were congratulting you on 200, and that was good going from only having 3 at the beginning of the year. I dread to think how much faster you will be when you back is better and you can do more walking etc. Well done Pat for all your work on the caches as well. GadgetManUK (aka Julian)
  24. Well done Jeff & Pat. You have done extremly well, particurly since you were only on 3 at the beginning of the year. So, I expect we will see 300 in less than a couple of months Julian aka GadgetManUK
