I have just noticed that My Geko 201 has donr the same thing. I have performed a Hard Reset and have made sure the software version is up to date (2.70). The date is still completely incorrect and it would seem that we had GPS satelites back in 1949 ? haha... Any help to resolve this issue would be great, It takes forever for the Unit to locate. Stevo
